We are located a 5 min stroll to the main centre of Cowes, Phillip Island, with its restaurants and cafes, and only a 2 min stroll to the beautiful Cowes foreshore with its safe swimming beach. With the Grand prix circuit and world famous Penguin Parade a 10min drive, the Tropicana is the perfect destination.

Getting there:Follow the highways signs to Phillip Island. Once on the island follow the signs to Cowes. When you reach Cowes continue along the main street (Thompson Ave) until you reach the beach. Turn left at the esplanade and continue along (the road will turn left and become Osbourne Ave) until you reach our entrance.
Check-in Procedure:Reception times are 7.30am to 9.30pm. Should you wish to arrive outside these times please contact us to make suitable other arrangements.
Car parking:All car parking is off-street, located adjacent to your room.

All staff members were extremely friendly & helpful, offering suggestions about appropriate venues & places of interest to visit, offering information & locating information brochures for perusal & consideration. Location is ideal for short walks to the town & surrounds and is central to the many tourist destinations. The room was very comfortable and was kept spotlessly clean by the lovely(and helpful) cleaning girls. Having the pool was an absolute bonus also and it was well used by us(especially my son) and many other guests whilst we stayed. Room rates were very competitive as well and for those on a budget, it is a great place to stay. Would highly recommend, we look forward to returning there sometime in the near future.

Basic, clean and good price
very nice ppl & clean place... comfortable stay, no complain at all.. except err... confused... heated pool = solar heated pool ?? ... definitely will be back if coming to Philips Island again...
Found staff very nice, helpful, motel very clean and the shower had the best hot water possible. Quiet location and close to shopping centre and water.
