Trouville Hotel Bournemouth (The)

Our room had very squeaky floorboards that we presumed could be heard from the room beneath us which may have been not only annoying to us but to any guests that may have been staying in the room. We arrived downstairs for breakfast at 09:25 and was told that we were too late, although it is quite clear in the hotel's literature that breakfast is served between 8 - 9:45 am. But a pleasant stay and very conveniently located from the town centre and beach.

The room was ok, but was showing its age. A little renovation of the decor would be helpful.

Nice hotel, room small, no Sat TV. Staff very friendly and very good service, meals nice too.

The Hotel was conveniently situated near the centre of the town and the staff were very courteous and helpful.The food was excellent and we ate in each night of our three day stay.The room was commfortable but situated at the furthest extremity of the hotel and since it wasn't listed on the permanent room numbers board of our 3rd floor we assumed it was a recent conversion.The shower pressure was inadequate and there were just three terrestial T.V Channels available.However it was quiet and we slept well. We wondered whether we would have been allocated a better room if we had booked direct.

The Trouville was very well placed in Bournemouth and whilst understanding that the hotel was under refurbishment, we found the decor and furnishings to be tired and in need of decoration. The rooms were very hot even when the radiators were turned off. It was OK but we probably wouldn't go back.

We asked to be moved from a room facing out into the main road because of the noisy traffic and the receptionest could not have been more helpfull or polite.

A bit shabby in terms of decor. Surprised to find that last orders in the restaurant were 8.30.

The room had major plumbing problems that were not put right. EG no hot water to bath. Would not go there again.

Very pleasant staff who were helpful. Lovely to be treated and spoilt.

Good ample car parking facilties. Unable to regulate central heating in the room.

We went to the BIC for a concert, this Hotel is right next door! there is plenty of parking and the staff where good, the breakfast is very good

We had a lovely time at the Trouville hotel. The location is great, right near the beach. We stayed half board and the food was delicious.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The double room was a little small and quite old fashioned but nice and clean. Breakfast was excellent.

I was very impressed with the hotel, the staff were all very friendly and helpful,the leisure centre facilities were impressive, the hotel was definitely value for money and only five minutes walk from the beach as well!

I found the rooms a good size and in good condition.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff were very friendly and helpful.The rooms were on the large size, and well furnished . Breakfast was nice and plentiful in the dining room. We would recomend this hotel to everyone.

Based in a great location, within touching distance of the beach, pier and many pubs and restaurants. Superb value for money,highly recommended.
