Hotel Troya is an independently owned 77-room hotel located just in the heart of Istanbul's entertainment, shopping and culture district which is called Beyoglu or Pera. The hotel is 200 meters from Taksim Square and a couple of kilometers from the main tourist attractions in the old city.

Getting there:From the airport Take the Taksim airport service bus and get off at Tepebasi station. Hotel is 25 meters from the stop. Otherwise the best option is taking a taxi (18 kms)

free wifi is very bad, otherwise no complaints. best view from breakfast. good value for money. 60e.
The hotel is a very good deal, since it offers smart and safe location in a very good price. The lobby is renovated and looks nice. Staff members are really helpful and the breakfast variety is good. I highly recommend this place. It is more than decent! Keep in mind that hotels in this area are much more expensive without offering more than Troya hotel.

Very kind staff and good service. Room good.We asked non smoking and larger room.We got it.Only note-noisy by traffic. Location - excellent.In the centar of shopping area;near metro station on Taksim(5 min.);historical places near (30 min) Recomended,esspecially for short stay of 3-5 days. We'll come again.
Very small room - even though I had a double for single use. Lobby was closed for renovation. Breakfast very basic
Good location if you want to go out at night. Unfortunately the walls are very thin and you can hear everything going on. I ended up with a small room in the middle of the building, not an ideal location but OK for the price I guess.

Staff are very friendly and the breakfast is good. The decor is average. They should make the whole breakfast area non-smoking: now only the eating area is non-smoking.
Hotel Troya has a very good location in Taksim area near to all touristic places; If you book a normal room there is probablity to have small window to inner yeard with no fresh air, not working air condition and lots of noise.
