"I stayed only for 1 night in Tryp. I have chosen to stay here not because I favour it, but because I was meeting a friend who also stayed there. The hotel is not bad, but I am not impressed with anything. This hotel is 4 star, but I am sure there are many 3 star hotels in the area which is better and cheaper than Tryp. I was given a room at the corner, the door cannot be locked from inside and the bathroom is pretty old. I am sure they actually could give me other better room as the hotel was not full ([your website] indicated there are 50 rooms available) at the time I booked. I did not complain as I only stayed there for one night, but I would do if I stayed longer. The staffs are friendly and they speak English very well. The location is very good as it is only 5 minutes walking to the main station. " - Anonymous

"Great location for oktoberfest. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast not included, 13 Euro per head, good variety available. Poor quality of complimentary shampoo etc. Double bed was 2 singles pushed together with separate linen for each. " - Anonymous

The TRYP Hotel Munich is located in the heart of the city of Munich, very near the Stachus business district, next to the Theresienwiese - site of the world-famous Oktoberfest, and just a short distance from the Deutsches Theater theatre. Very well located for transport: 200 m from the Theresienwiese Metro station and close to the central railway station. Only a 40 minute ride from the International Airport Franz Josef Strauss and 20 minutes to the München Trade Fair.
Distributed on 6 floors, the hotel offers a total of 200 comfortable and modern rooms with a fully equipped bathroom with hair-dryer, satellite and pay-TV, direct dial telephone with data port, radio and mini-bar. Another 18 rooms, especially designed for our most discerning guests, are located on the top floor of the hotel and are equipped with fax, scanner, wireless telephone, coffee & tea maker as well as additional facilities such as a trouser press, fruit basket and a bottle of mineral water, bathrobe and slippers, free use of the mini-bar, safe deposit box. The comfort category has the following additional amenities: Kettle, bottle of mineral water, slippers, view to our quiet courtyard.

Munich Franz-Josef-Strauss is 35 kilometres from the hotel, at an approximate driving time of 50 minutes. The S1 and S8 trains go from the airport to Munich station. From the station, take the subway U4/U5, which is three minutes walk from the hotel. Alternatively, taxis are available from outside the airport and the fare to the hotel should cost approximately 50 Euros. The city's extensive U-bahn underground system is the most efficient way to get around the city. Taxis are quick, but quite expensive.
From the Munich Airport:
Take the exit for Schwabing-Mittlerer Ring West.
Follow Mittleren Ring in the direction of Garmischer Autobahn.
Exit at Stadtmitte-Bundesstrasse Augsburg.
At the traffic lights turn left onto the Landsberger Strasse.
Follow the street until coming to a sharp turn to the right.
Behind this bend, take the turn into Schwanthaler Strasse.
Turn into the second street on the right.
