"Central location and friendly staff. Suites are roomy" - Ian Bollans
"It is what it is - a 3 star hotel nothing more. We stayed in both sides of the hotel first in a suite which we thought for the money was very good £50 per night. Then in the main part of the hotel in a room which was styled more modern but as a room wasn't as good as the suite. The aircon was not very good in either room but the service from the concierge desk was brilliant. They booked all the restaurants and taxis and it took all the hastle out of the planning. I would book a hotel with its own pool if I went to Cape town again." - Anonymous
"very centrally located in downtown business district-short walk to green square markets-also about 15min walk to V & A waterfront" - helen english
"Good value for money for R440 per night. It is not your international chain 4-star hotel and that you notice. The door to my bedroom could only open halway, because it hit the floor and the movement of the lift was as subtle as an African Elephant. But nonetheless, the room looked nice (recently refurbished) and the breakfast was fine. I would stay here again if I wanted a budget option in Cape Town." - Anonymous
