there was a problem with a free wi-fi, otherwise it was a wonderful place to stay. breakfast was great, it was quite far from dontown but was at the first stop for hop-on hop- off busses. by the way, do not get tickets for lisbon sightseeing bus, get portugal sightseeing or yellow bus. a very clean hotel.
If you are used to 4 stars hotels, this one is not for you. It is a nice hotel, very well located, clean roons, good service overall. The breakfast is more likely a 2 stars hotel, artificial yougurt, no variety and the juice is the cheapest one from the supermarket. Anyway. come and enjoy, however do not expect a 4 stars place.
Clean hotel. Staff pleasant, but not smart (I asked for a quiet room and was given one just opposite the lift, so that I heard people coming and going). The breakfast was good, but costs an extra 10 euro.
Very good Hotel, well situated. Quiet room. Excellent breakfast. I will return! Only pb: the WIFI connection didn't work in the room, had to go the reception hall!!!
The staff were exceptionally helpful. The location as far as we were concerned was good being within walking distance of both buses and underground. The only complaint was that the breakfast was only adequate. Good value and would stay there again
A very comfortable overnight stay in a well located hotel which offers good value. Will stay there again on my next visit to Lisbon.
I recommend to improve Business centre functionality- equip workplace with printing functionality- with local or network printer.
Bit far from downtown, near to Bus stop for sightseeing tour. Not much choice in menu for evening meals. Room good size. Staff friendly and spoke good english. Breakfast not much choice.
I stayed here in the middle of July 2009. I thought the hotel was excellent value overall and would recommend. I did find, however, that it wasn't within comfortable walking distance from the city center - more like the buisness center. I needed to use the Metro quite regularly to get to some of the main sights of Lisbon - which is excellent anyway. Buy a weekly metro card if decide to stay here.
Room for 3 was very cramped but ok for an overnight stop. Staff were very friendly & helpful.
The hotel room was clean ,quiet, comfortable and of good size for the two of us . The breakfast was one of the better ones that we experienced. The location was good with a few restaurants near by and walking distance to Parque or Picoas Metro stations. The price was reasonable. We enjoyed our stay here.
We got a room on the 1st floor, we have to walk through a twisted corridor to get to it, not convenient if you have heavy lugguage. The room was very basic and the window frame seemed that it would fall out anytime. We then asked for another room instead. It was on the top (5th) floor and it was quite OK. The hotel is kind of old, but at lease the staff did a good job in keeping our rooms clean. It is classified as a 4 star hotel. I would give it a 3 star instead. The waiters in the restaurant didn't smile at all, and there was no tea bags for breakfast.
I missed the genuine Portuguese pastries for breakfast, other than that, excellent!
great location for exploring the old city. All the staff were very helpful and the buffet breakfast was a great start to our day.Would benefit from tea/coffee making facility. Only five minutes walk to bus stop to airport which is only twenty minutes away.Enjoyable three nights stay and would definitely stay again.

Great location close to the metro and bus stops. Also a lot of restaurants nearby. 10 mins walk to El Corte Ingles an 20 mins walk to Palmeiras.
Very comfortable well appointed rooms. Hotel not too easy to find initially. Breakfast very good but only snacks later in the day. Recommended restuarant some distance away. I would use this hotel again mainly because of the comfortable rooms.

The reception staff spoke very good English and the service was great - a very modern hotel.
