Turtle Inn Nikko is a friendly petit-inn with calm and homelike atmosphere that stands on the riverside. The inn is located in a convenient place for visiting UNESCO world heritage sites such as Shrines and Temples of Nikko, Oku-Nikko (literally means deep Nikko) ' s plentiful nature, entertaining theme parks such as Tobu World Square and Nikko Edo Mura Village in Kinugawa-onsen spa. For example, it takes just 10 min on foot to Toshogu Shrine, 40 min by bus to Lake Chuzenji and Waterfall Kegon, 40 min by bus and train to the theme parks.
All the tableware is Mashiko-yaki Pottery (ceramics). This folk pottery is one of the most popular in Japan because of its warm colors and round designs.

Getting there:
7 min. bus (headed for either Toshogu or Chuzenjiko) ride from the JR or Tobu Nikko Sta. get off at the Sogo Kaikan-mae bus stop, and walk for 5 min. for a distance of about 200 meters towards Ganmagafuchi along the Daiyagawa river. You'll find Turtle Inn Nikko on left side./ 40-45 min. on foot or 6 min. by taxi from Nikko Sta.
