it's not the fanciest of hotels but it was great value for money.the shower was excellent, staff were friendly.Could have done with breakfast being served maybe until 12.
Hotel was good value for money and breakfast was excellent. Meals are served next door in a restaurant and again the food was of a high standard. Location is poor if you are not using a car. There is a bus stop outside but crossing the very busy dual carriage way was difficult. There was also a problem with our final check out payment as the room cost had been added.
when staying in this hotel i was woken up early to a continuing banging noise which i assumed was the heating coming on, i found this very annoying, my parents who were staying down the hall also were woken by this noise, i found that unnacceptable and would probably hamper my intention to stay there again. Also the rooms and the hotel whilst clean could certainly do with some updating and refurbishment works.
The noise from the central heating system adjacent to my room (203) was a loud chattering for most of the night . It pevented me gatting any sleep untill 01.30 approx. I informed the hotel on my morning checkout. It really spoilt my nights sleep.
Helpful & pleasant staff... room pretty quiet considering a Debs band was playing in the function room. Easy to find on the gps, easy parking. Easy to book the night before for one night. Also useful was the wireless internet in the lounge area.
Great value for the price and the room had full size coffee cups-what a joy. Down sides heating could not be turned off, neither the towel rails nor out in the corridor, so hotel and our room ridiculously hot and overbearingly stuffy. Middle of summer too. Strange clicking sound present in room 24/7.
The hotel needs refurbishment, everything could do with a good spruce up especially the beds, was very old and squeaky, not very comfortable. Other than that for a quick stop over on the way from shannon airport it was alright but wouldn't stay for longer.
There is a pub next door where you can get an evening meal. It is not very good! However, you are some two miles outside of Limerick, so, unless you drive, there is no choice.
The staff at the two mile inn could not do enough for you especially the staff in the breakfast room.
When leaving the hotel, going back to Limerick, is difficult. And not signposted well enough. If you miss the turn you have to drive about 20miles down the road in the wrong direction to turn around and drive that 20miles again. (20 may be exagerated)
The hotel turned out to be a little too far out of Limerick for what we wanted. However, the quality was OK for the price paid. The staff were friendly and helpful, even when the hotel, from time to time, filled up with tour parties. A small issue was that the electricity appeared to be turned off during the day when I was out. This was unfortunate for a computer I had left plugged in whilst I was out.
The location is great if you're on your way to Shannon airport or to County Clare. It's not the most stylishly decorated hotel - a bit 1970s brown and beige - but it is comfortable, clean and quiet with all the usual in-room facilities. I was delighted with the [website] service.
Very comfortable hotel with good food available close by.
Well situated for access into Limerick and to Shannon airport
In addition the \inn was very essy to find.
Really enjoyed my stay, checkin was lovely and I really enjoyed the break, delighted to get such a rate at such short notice. Will be back.
will always stay at this hotel. very good
Receptionist was very sour, gave no information about breakfast times, all information she provided was in response to what was asked, nothing was volunteered. Stain on carpet where radiator had leaked, other stains on carpets, bath was grimy to the point that we didn't even have a shower there, could tell housekeeping only gave a cursory wipe to remove hairs, not grime. Bed covers were ripped. Cups for Tea/Coffee were very clean, but not enough sugar or milk for drinks. Bed very comfortable. Overall, not at all happy with room or service, we had stayed there before, but would probably go elsewhere in future.
Noise from the heating-system during night, as the heating was turned on the days we stayed there. Nowhere to go if you will take a walk just outside the hotel.
We stayed at this hotel on a b and b basis for 3 nights and were well pleased with it. The rooms were very spacious, light and airy. The beds were very comfy and the fluffy white towels were changed daily. The breakfasts were self service with all you could wish for and the dining room staff were very pleasant and helpful. It is also very handy for Shannon airport, about 15 mins drive along an easy dual carriageway. We visited Tralee, Dingle, Killarney and Cork and had a great time.
