Uljiro CO-OP Residence Seoul

The bus from the i/national terminal stops outside the door -lots of street markets in the area as well as restuarants. Dinner or lunch about $5 AUD. The on -off bus was 2min walk to the stop and the subway access was next to the regular bus stop. Breakfast was just OK but you could get ham and fried eggs. The room was a/c and some TV channels in english

Very well set up and clean. The bus from the airport stopped outside and ran regularly on the half hour. Staff were friendly, polite and very helpful. The non-smoling floors were great and the onsite laundry was cheap, efficient and useful.

Budgeted hotel but with excellent location. Airport bus station is in front of the hotel, subway station is just 2 mins walk and all department stores like dootas is just within 10 mins walk. Lots of restaurant. Just like the hotel room, small and basic but with all the facilities you want. Staff is smart and speaks good English. Highly recommended.

This residence is very well placed for accessing subway, food, and major stores. The kitchen facilities provided are excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful

Fantastic location with easy access to the train station and dongdamum shopping area. Staff are very helpful too. The rooms are clean and tidy, only complain is the bathroom is too small. I strongly recommend this hotel for the stay in Seoul.

Just like the hotel room, small and basic but with all the facilities you want. Staff is smart and speaks good English. Highly recommended.

Best possible location for tourists in Seoul, Airport bus outside the door (6001) Undercover walkway from hotel door to MTR. Great shopping in walking distance. Good facilities including free computer and internet, fitness centre etc. Very pleased withh the stay, thanks

It was my second time to stay at this hotel, I like it in average, but not easy to find the location for first time vistor.

Having arrived in Seoul on a cold Monday morning, it was a relief to see that our room was in a very neat condittion. Nothing fancy, just a room equipped with the necessary stuff for a couple with a young child. When my son wet his bed, I informed the front desk for a mattress change. Unfortunately, all the staff doing room service had gone home for the night. The solution? well, they gave us another room! This is what I call service beyond the norm. I'll definitely stay here again when we return to Seoul..

Absolutely perfect location

Staff was not very friendly. I arrived at 7.30am and was told I could not check in unless I paid for early check in, even though room was available. The fridge did not work at all and it looked like it was not cleaned for ages. Also the stove was removed so the only way to boil hot water was to use the microwave. Bathroom is very small but bearable. Despite all these, location is good.

1. Allocated non-smoking rooms reeked of cigarette smoke. Found a hotel-provided ashtray in the room. When I called front desk, they claimed it's a non-smoking hotel. All they could do was to send someone up to spray air-freshner, just before I went to bed. 2. Shower area was rather tiny too. 3. Road-facing room can be rather noisy, as the hotel is opposite a hospital.

Its location is superb, however the service is poor as there is only one staff on duty each time and this person is always busy, juggling incoming phone calls, tourists waiting to check-in and some wanted to ask for directions. Hence, on many occasions, I gave up hope on asking the front-end staff for assitance and directions to places. In addition, the room is not well partioned and hence everytime, you will hear a loud bang if someone on your floor closes the door.

Friendly and helpful staff, the cleanliness is absolutely the selling point. Although the showing place (the bathroom) is a bit narrow, overall was a nice stay!

The Uljiro Co-op is clean with modern facilities and a great location. While the bathroom is a bit of a surprise for American travellers, it is clean, well maintained and a standard in many Asian countries, so get over it and try how the rest of the world lives!! (This because the toilet and shower are in the same room)

I have stayed in this hotel for the 2nd time. I simply love the location! It's so near to Dongdaemum that I can always walk there in the midnight to catch up on some shopping. It's near Dongdaemum Stadium subway - it's an interchange and going anywhere is a breeze. The room is small compared to other hotels, but given that I'm travelling alone, it didn't bother me. The restroom is very small, with the shower area (no bathtub) and sink very close to the toilet. The toilet bowl is completely wet after shower . There is internet line in the room, convenient for me to surf net using my own laptop. The room is clean and there is a hot and cold water dispenser on the corridor. Good enough to brew a cup of cuppa if you bring some coffee sachets. The staff is friendly and give good direction when I told them I need to go Gimpo Airport after checking out. They speak acceptable English too. I would recommend this hotel for people who are not fussy or in need of luxury hotels.

3 minute walk to the subway. Small room however had a fridge and microwave. would go there again.

The best way to get to the hotel from Incheon airport is defenitely the limousine bus! Only 14 000 won/person and it takes about 90 minutes. Please notice that the limousine bus only takes you to the Shilla hotel, but by taxi it takes only 5 minutes to get to the Uljiro CO-OP hotel and costs only about 2000 won :) Rooms in Uljiro CO-OP hotel are VERY small! But that didn't bother us, because we only came to the hotel to sleep and shower. Breakfast was also ok.
