"Umaid Bhawan hotel is very clean by Indian standards and the rooms and lobby areas are nice, however the ambience which this could produce was spoiled by continuous noisy building/repair works to the hotel during the day (which should eventually finish) and the loitering (unsmiling) staff who the management seem to think should be seen continuously cleaning the public areas (with a dirty rag). Put simply there are too many staff and this detracts both from the ambience and bizarrely also makes service that bit slower! " - Peter Allan
"The hotel was a fantastic surpise, the decor and ambience was fantastic. We really wished we would have had more time to be able to enjoy the hotel rather than just for one night" - Debra Hornby
"A very beautifull, herritage hotel- great architecture that give you a special feeling of the localculture once staying at Rajastan. Great restaurant location on the top roof, good food at very reasonable price. But the service - the picked-up service from the railway station (offered as a complimentary service included in the price) was not there. Nobody bothered to explain even why was not delivered, neither offer me at least drop out service instead to the same station on my leaving. " - Anonymous
"What an amazing hotel, lovely food, great pool and superb atmosphere. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. I'd really recommend this hotel to anyone wanting something a little bit different, FULL of character" - Anonymous
