Getting there:By road M23/A23 follow signs in to brighton and then to the seafront, At the pier turn right on to Kings Road and we are 700m along on the right, By train when you come out of Brighton station head stright down to the seafront and we are at the end of that road, Walking distance 10 minutes.
Check-in Procedure:Check in starts at 3pm and check out time is 11am. If cancelled before noon 2 days prior to the date of arrival, no cancellation fee will be charged. When cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
Car parking:Local NCP Car park available at the discounted price for UMI guests of £12 per 24 hour period
Child Policy:All children are welcome. Cots are free of charge for all children under the age of 2 years. Children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. Extra beds are charged at GBP 20.00 per person per night. Maximum capacity of extra beds/cots in a room is 1 and only available when booking Superior sea-view rooms.
clean, neat and with friendly staff, located in the middle of everything, close enough for a two minute walk to the Lanes filled with great restaurants and bars... Much nicer than the charming Royal Albion. The Wi-Fi is free if a bit patchy at times.
Good location but poor service with stroppy manager
We also got complimentary use of a swimming pool at a neighbouring hotel.

Our stay at this hotel was only for one night but it was of a higher standard than i expected after some of the reviews i had read. We had no problems during our stay, the only criticism would be that on booking the room it said the room had freeview, however the only digital channels available are sky news and sky sport news, therefore we felt a bit misled! Other than that, we thought the breakfast price of £5.50 was a bit steep therefore steered clear and got breakfast in the Varsity Bar down the road for £2.99. Would recommend this hotel however, and will definately be returning.
Hot water supply was very poor - no hot water during the whole 3 days I was there.
Entrance and corridors a bit cramped. Bedroom adequate but might get uncomfortably hot in summer. Well placed for seafront and sightseeing.
