Hotel Unicorno has a particulary interesting location on a street famous for its antique shops in the very heart of Florence.
Renovation of the hotel (last refurbished 2003) was achieved by
combining the original features of the 15th Century building with an elegant contemporary style.
An appealing interior and individually appointed rooms are the result.
Closed to Santa Maria Novella and within easy reach of the railway station, it is also walking distance from main museums, monuments, congress and exhibition
(Fortezza da Basso) areas.
All rooms are provided with:
bathtub/shower, air conditioning, direct telephone, mini bar, satellite TV, safety box, hair dryer and R11 socket for connecting your notebook to the Internet.
Please ask us for reservations to the Uffizi and the Accademia museums, we will also arrange for tickets for the Comunale,Verdi and La Pergola Theater, throught the Florence Box Office.

From the Santa Maria Novella railway Station
By taxi, (minimum fare) available in front of the Station (about 2 minutes).
By foot, leaving out from the front side of the Station, crossing the road and passing through the Santa Maria Novella Square.
The Hotel is right at the end of the Square (about 5 minutes).
From the Florence Airport
BY CAR:
By taxi, available right in front of the airport entrance (15-17 minutes).
By bus, taking the number 62 in front of the airport entrance and getting down at the S.M.N. Station.
From motorway exit Firenze Nord
By car, (see motorway map) from motorway exit, Firenze Nord (15-20 min.), please follow the indications for the "Centro" and particularly for the "Stazione F.S. S.M.N.".
When you reach the station, pass through Santa Maria Novella Square and then reach Via dei Fossi.
Here you can find a garage for your car. Please ask the reception for further information about prices and reservation procedures.
