Vagabond Inn Costa Mesa

It is very close to the mall for some shopping!! Not too far of a drive to the beach. Friendly staff!! Only thing that was not cool was people talking and drinking at a late hour.. Other than that it's an alright hotel.... nothing spectacular... Just alright.

Hotel was clean, had cable, and wi-fi was free. I spent most of the time out with my friends, but the stay was comfortable. I also liked the easy location...

Visited family, went to a wedding. The hotel was centrally located very handy to everything we could want.

The Vagabond at Harbor and the 405 has everything needed for a safe extended stay. The breakfast is simple but with a good selection with seating inside, outside or just take it back to your room. The staff is friendly and the grounds were cleaned daily. Most importantly my wife loved the place. We do plan to stay there again.One bit of advice: I do recommend using [...] to make your reservations BUT if for any reason you must make changes in your reservations, first contact the hotel directly and make the reservations directly with them at the quoted price if possible. Then cancel your reservations with Cheap Tickets. I spent two plus hours on the phone adjusting my 9 day stay a full 2 months before our trip.

Great location, friendly staff. Rooms were older needing some modern upgraded touches and TLC. Beds were comfortable but needed more pillows. Another thing to add would be a microwave for my late night snacks.

We were down for the Firefighter Olympics to play softball and it worked out perfect for location. It was in the middle of all four locations we had to play at, and check in. We would return back to the hotel during breaks and relax at pool and spa which made it really nice. The Beds were very comfortable (Pillow Top) Couple of upgrades they could do to really make this a 4-5 star hotel. i.e. Scrap ceilings, updated pictures, updated tv's, especially updated bed comforter's.

We enjoy the Spa, and the breakfasts at the tables outside. In addition, the hotel offers you a bbq for free, to cook your dinner!
