Vagabond Inn Los Angeles Bell Gardens

"Good Value for money,good location,stayed 2 nights with 11am checkout.Shops within walking distance (Casino next to them).Breakfast not substancial,but what do you expect for budget(shop @ supermarket)? Internet worked well (only wireless)It is a fair distance from the airport but if you are on a budget you could look up www.metro.net and do a search on bus routes, it cost us just $1 US each to get from the airport (took just over 2 hours by bus and was a scenic route with a transfer) Would definantely consider staying there again.Short walk to bus to Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm. One thing to note... From the international terminal catch the free C-Bus (the City Bus, I think it is the C Car park also) it will take you to the LAX bus terminal (it leaves from the blue sections of the traffic islands (look at the colour of the signs outside every terminal, purple, blue, etc). We did not figure this out at first, hope this helps :)" - brian carter

"It wasn't a bad place to stay at all for the price. I didn't have any problems at all. They also have Wifi. They're in close distant to everything, I was able to go to downtown, Santa Monica Pier, wasn't far from LAX. I got to everywhere on time. There are places to get food and beer stores within walking distance. Bus stop on the same street. Hotel was clean, they cleaned it everyday. There was a microwave and referidgator in there as well, but I didn't need it. I would stay there again. " - Ubaid Hussain

"We spent four nights in the Vagabond Inn and occupied three rooms in total. The room is spacious and well equipped. The staff is neutral at the reception. The motel is situated right next to highway 5 and you can reach hollywood and downtown in less than 30 min. (without traffic). The area is quiet and there are shops, restaurants and a casino within short distance. I am not really satisfied with the cleaning staff but I would recommend this motel to a friend." - Anonymous
