The central building of the Hotel Vall de Bas is Can Trona, a country house built in 1757 and refurbished in 2006. It is located in the geographical heart of the Bas valley, at the foot of the Puigsacalm mountain, on the edge of the La Garrotxa Volcanic Area Natural Park and only 4 km from the town of Olot.
