Value Hotel Thomson Singapore

If you are doing sightseeing during the day, it is a good place to sleep. Rooms are small but comfortable and clean. The hotel does not provide continental breakfast. Nearest shopping center is 10 minutes walk for a continental breakfast. From the hotel yo can walk to the city center which takes 25 minutes. If you take a taxi it costs 10 dollars. It was a pleasent stay for 3 nights.

Clean and modern but let down by some basic things. We started out with a Superior room but it was a little small so upgraded to the deluxe. Still the room had no fridge so we asked for an upgrade to a room with a fridge to be told no room has a fridge. Even the deluxe room lacked a few basic thing; No bed side table / shelf, No sugar/milk/whitener for the coffee/tea, No bedside lights or switches, no face cloth in bathroom, a dvd player with a power cable for another country?!?, no reliable wifi and the cable internet wasn't working in our room so they suggest we use it in the lobby. Overall a modern and clean hotel with a nice pool (the gym is only a cycle and treadmill). But all you get is a ROOM, BED, TOWEL, TV. For the money I would look at other options. 10mins walk from the MRT station.

Small++++rooms- clean enough. Only broadband and you have to pay extra. No sound proofing in rooms at all so heard nocturnal activities in more detail than I needed..No fridge. No ironing facility nearby and no list of hotel services in the room. Pool is good. Gym is two machines in a locked room which are not in full working order and with no access to drinking water or air-conditioning. Staff are helpful if you really expect them to be helpful. Is definitely a budget hotel.

Room (Superior Twin) is very small but clean and modern looking. Staff member are friendly. I saw many tourists while staying there. I think it's one of a few good hotels for budget concious people. Singapore is very clean and green but the atmosphere of a nanny state made me feel frustrating sometimes.

Little far from MRT station(15min walking distance). Bus service is convenient than MRT. Room is very small and no table at all.Not convenient if you want to surf net.

Location not on tourist map as it is in the legend. But easy on mrt & bus closest mrt is $4 by cab and airport is $3.20

The noise from outside (housekeeping attendant, checking in guest and check out guests) is so loud that can be heard in the room.

Small rooms, but very comfort bed.

Rooms were small but clean, staff friendly and helpful. Pool area was nice but the 'gym' was literally an ex bike and treadmill in a 2x3m room. Easy to get to most places, approx 10min stroll to MRT but buses stopped almost literally at front door. Good budget hotel, would recommend...

I found the room to be quite clean, but the layout of the shower rose was very unsatisfactory, with water going all over the toilet seat area. I thought that a fridge in the room in this day & age, would be expected. But it wasnt there. Apart from that, everything was quite ok.

Room was small but very clean and nice. Staff were very helpful and I would recommend the Value Hotel Thompson Singapore to others.

Good value hotel and very comfortable beds. Big downside is the toilet that has no shower division, much like you find in China.

Very good price for Singapore! Rooms are small but very clean - pool excellent - location is OK - short walk to MRT and Novena shopping centre - will use agin!

Mostly internet very expensive. Wifi does not have event now so easy to find out another place. Room has a little bit small.

Very new hotel, very comfortable bed, location is good, bus stop is very near , take bus no. 162 to Orchard, City Hall, Suntec city, Esplanade, Merlion at Marina Bay. The downside is small room, small bathroom but I can live with that, it's adequate for me especially for the price.

A clean and well placed hotel - good price by Singapore standards - rooms are very small - no fridge, chair etc but TV is OK. Some staff very good, others less so. Short walk to major shops and MRT at Novena Square. Will use again.

Helpful and friendly staffs. If only the price can be a bit lower especially as the room is so so small.

neat clean tidy, some noise from hallway ,room service quick,good food ,great staff ,little distance from town centre,will stay there again.

quite noisy outside the room, can hear walk step from people pass by the room.

Most of the taxi drivers has no idea about the hotel location & it's really far to the MRT as well .
