Veneto Hotel Rome

A lovely hotel with decent sized rooms and excellent air-conditioning! Clean, good breakfast, excellent location, polite and friendly service.

Beautiful hotel but location is quite far from Metro.

Veneto Hotel Rome is quite a fancy looking hotel but I booked it with 40% discount through the [website]. It is located in a very posh area surrounded with other luxury hotels and is in proximity to American embassy and police station. So, it felt like a quite safe area. The double room we stayed at was quite small but clean and well decorated. Facilities in the hotel come at cost. Internet was 10€ for 3 hrs. They also offer off site parking but charge a whooping 35€ per day. The alternative to that is to park at the unlimited street parking in from of the hotel charged between 8am and 10pm at rate of 1€ per hour (total of 15€ per day). There is also public carpark about 1,000 meters from the hotel, which charges 18€ per day. Hotel is about 10-15min walk from Spanish steps, 25min walk from the Colosseum and about 35min walk from Vatican. If you do not want to walk you can catch a open roof double decker hop-on-hop-off-bus, which stops about 300 meters from the hotel.

The staff in the reception is friendly and helpful when ask for assistance. Room is small but clean. Location to spanish steps is about 20 minutes by foot.

Very nice and helpful staff in reception and for breakfast. Asked for a Spa and was told that they were going to make one to be finished next year.

An old good hotel, but the room was too little. Just the bed to sit on. Normally it is a chair or two. But for me it function. For a short week end the hotel was good enough. But a very "thin" breakfast. For Scandinavion people that is used to "more", was this breakfast very bad. It was NOT even a continental breakfast which also include some cheese. Onthis hotel it was just bread and marmelade. Too bad!

Enjoyed the experience. Staff were very friendly. Only 10 minute walk and we could walk to each of the major attractions. Would stay again.

Clean and well situated hotel.

The hotel is well located and quiet. The staff were very helpful and spoke English well. The rooms are nicely furnished, but not large. A pleasant atmosphere in the place.

Very nice, clean hotel with very good service. It seemed further from the attractions than we thought it would be. Approxiamately 15-20 minute walk to Spanish Steps and 10 minutes to nearest Metro station.

Good hotel in an area that was an ideal base to sightsee Rome. Helpful staff, very clean. Would definitely use on a return visit to Rome.

MY DAUGHTER AND MYSELF WERE ON A THREE CITY TOUR AND WE FOUND THE VENETO TO BE A PERFECT BUDGET COST HOTEL. IT WAS VERY CLEAN AND MAID SERVICE EVERY DAY. ROOMS WERE SMALL BUT COMFY AND AIRCONDITIONED. FACILITIES WERE QUITE LIMITED BUT THEY WERE THERE. LOCATION IS APPROXIMATELEY 30 MINS WALK FROM MAIN SITE SEEING ATTRACTIONS SUCH AS SPANISH STEPS AND TREVI FOUNTAIN. OVERALL IF RETURNING TO ROME I WOULD CONSIDER THIS HOTEL AGAIN BUT NOT IDEAL FOR THOSE WHO HAVE RESTRICTED MOBILITY AND WISH TO BE IN THE THICK OF THINGS.

Very good rates for standard of hotel. Clean, staff helpful. If visiting Rome on a short break it would be better to be nearer the sites of interest. But great value for money.

We stayed in this hotel because we knew it from previous visits a few years ago. The room was small, but had everything that is necessary. The breakfast buffet was good and the service very attentive.
