It was a good, small and clean three star hotel, not four star. The down side of it was the location, because it was hard to find. The bus stop is not far from it, but there are no signs that can lead you to your hotel and if you arrive at night, you will have a hard time finding your destination. The breakfast was included and it was great. They had plenty of fruit, bread, cheese, jam, cereal and one day even scramble eggs. You could ask for cafe late or expresso coffee. The woman that runs the dining are was friendly and amazing,
We had two rooms and both were nice, lower level rooms were a lot more quiet. Loved the setting and close to airport. Hotel did not have promised airport shuttle, which was not ideal. Great restaurant across the street, as the hotel itself only offers very limited food items. Breakfast was included in the rate and was great! Hotel was build with high quality materials and nice neutral design... would go back, no doubt. Staff could have been friendlier at check in.
The hotel was near the airport, we walked there! A few minutes walk from the hotel and you can catch the number 5 bus for the 20 minute ride into Venice. The staff were friendly and helpful and room comfortable and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was adequate and plentiful. Husband even managed to find scrambled egg and bacon! Very good value for money. Lovely stay.
Can’t image any hotel better than this in Venice for the price.
This hotel was a relaxing country escape amid the hustle and bustle of the big city. It was a nice wind-down prior to leaving Europe after a hectic vacation.. The setting was quiet and secluded; the room was very well furnished and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was spacious compared to our previous accomadations. Wish we could have spent more time there. The only complaint is that the taxi to the airport was $$$$$$.
This was my first trip to Italy in mid-September and the Venice Resort Hotel left an excellent first impression. I do not speak Italian and yet the staff was friendly, kind & extremely helpful in terms of giving directions on how to get places as well as offering assistance with my tablet and allowing me to use the hotel computer when I could not get internet access. The room was a single - it was lovely, small, and clean. The space was used efficiently, the furntiure wood and the bathroom modern. For one person it was perfect. The Venice Resort Hotel is one stop away from the airport by bus & a short walk down the road. I recommend it highly. Great value for the money.
We stayed at this hotel for our last night in Venice because it was close to the airport. It is about a half-hour bus ride from the city of Venice. In terms of comfort, design, and cleanliness, this hotel deserves its 4 stars. However, it was a little difficult to get to, and the taxi ride to the airport was expensive (25 Euros, or about $33 -- even though the hotel is about 1 mile from the airport!). The hotel's website says that they have a "shuttle bus" that goes to the airport, but hotel staff told me that they have never had a shuttle bus to the airport. It might be worth choosing a different hotel that costs a little more than the Venice Resort Hotel, if the other hotel offers a free shuttle bus. Also, it was a little bit difficult to find this hotel. We took the #5 bus from Venice (and also got ripped off by the ACTV ticket sellers -- the bus fare from Venice to the Venice Resort Hotel is 1.30 Euros, but the ACTV ticket sellers told us we needed to buy a ticket for 5 Euros -- so we overpaid about $5 per ticket for 2 tickets). Coming from Venice, ask the bus driver to tell you when you are at the "Tessera Centro" bus stop. After you get off at the bus stop, turn around and walk back the way the bus was coming from. Take your first right to get to the Venice Resort Hotel. It is about one-tenth of a mile, and there is no sidewalk along the last stretch. My last comment is that the man working the front desk when we arrived was a little bit snotty and rude (although he did make the taxi reservation we requested). The other 2 front desk staff we encountered were pleasant. It is a very nice hotel, it is just a little difficult to find and I was disappointed at how much the taxi cost.
This hotel was decently priced and is located close to a bus stop which takes you directly to Venice. The breakfast was good with a decent selection of foods, and the rooms were nice as well.
Hotel was pretty and quiet .Our room was comfortable. Breakfast was good. Hotel was near airport, but there was no shuttle available from train station and the shuttle to the airport was not free. The hotel was convenient to public bus so traveling into Venice proper was not difficult about a 20 minute ride.
What a terrific experience at the Venice resort hotel for our first two nights in Venice. Accommodations were quite comfortable and spotless. What I especially enjoyed was the location which was a block off the main thoroughfare and country looking for that block! We walked several times from the hotel to catch the #5 bus over to Venice as well as taking the short walk for one of our evenings to enjoy delicious food at a local restuarant(Al Quadarante) that had been recommended by staff. Phenomenal pizza by the way. Also the hotel included a breakfast buffet each morning that was top notch with various hot and cold items to satisfy all tastes. If this hotel had a shuttle service to the Marco Polo airport which is close by, it would have been a perfect find. Nonetheless, we will probably opt to stay and pay the extra for cab service which is very very expensive in Venice if we have an opportunity to visit the area again..Mucho bene!!
I have had the good fortune to return to Venice several times and to have stayed here several times. The service is personal and warm. It is also just five minutes from the airport which is handy for an early morning departure.
Each time, the staff has gone the extra mile to make sure that I don't get lost going somewhere. Room was appointed in wood furniture that matched the vaulted wood-beam ceiling, there was a laptop to work on in the lobby, and the scrambled eggs and bacon were yummy! AND, it was quiet.
This is an excellent renovation of agricultural buildings into a 4 star hotel. Very nice to have something different from the usual bland airport hotel. Must be one of the closest hotels to the Venice Marco Polo airport; a ten minute walk (though pavements lacking for part of it). No dinner / room service facilities, though a couple of restaurants of reasonable quality are a short walk away.
Good value for money. Convenient to public transport and the airport.
This hotel was a surprise. We booked it in order to be close to the airport for a 6:20 am flight. Luckily, we decided to take a taxi from Pz le Roma in Venice instead of using the public bus recommended. The taxi for 3 persons with luggage cost 28 euro. The hotel buildings are some distance from the main road going through Mestre, thus for those without private transport, this means a 300 metre walk to get food or take public transport to the airport. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. They arranged for a taxi to arrive at 5am with the pre-arranged price of 30 euro for the 1 km drive to the airport. The rooms appear newly renovated and were perfect for a one-night stay. I mention the prices here because they are somewhat surprising. Visitors leaving Europe should not empty their pockets before arriving inside the airport!
Stayed at the Venice Resort Hotel on our last night before our flight. Very accomodating, but a bit out of the way. They arranged a ride for us back to the airport at 5:00 am and the cost was 25Euro which is what they said it would cost for the 4 minute ride.. not their fault but the cost in Venice is what it is. Bus # 5 should be used to get to and from the inside of the city. Great Hotel for the money.
The Venice Resort Hotel in Venice is not in reality located in Venice and it takes 15-20 minutes by bus to travel to Piazzale Roma. However, the public transport is not bad, so for turists which prefer to pay less for good quality hotel and do not mind to travel to town (to visit, to find something to eat etc), it is interesting to book this hotel.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Venice Resort Hotel. At first we thought we might be a bit to far out from Venice, but with the bus service taking you into Venice being so handy to the resort it was not a problem at all. Venice is a very busy place and to be out of the crowds of people after a day wondering around was very relaxing, also you dont need to drag your cases around trying to find your accomodation, which can be quite off putting. Now the resort is very nice and the area around the place is quite rural, you really get the feel of being in rural Italy. Your rooms are very clean and well appointed. The beds are very comfortable and the furniture is of a high standard. We will use this place again when we return to Venice.
Very nice hotel, a bit of a distance from Town Center but clean.
Excellent Hotel with easy access by bus to Venice
