"Free continental breakfast (from 4am) is fine and is necessary as the hotel has no restaurant. 2 of the 3 eating places advertised as within walking distance of the hotel closed at 4pm, leaving only the pub as a dinner venue (adequate) if you have no transport. Some local restaurants deliver. Free shuttle to airport is good. Overall a good place to stay if you don't need all the trimmings." - Anonymous

"Arrived at this motel at 2 30am & as there is ni mini bar, couldn't get a cold soft drink. Went down to Reception to try & change and get some small change so I could operate the Dispensing machine, and the first staff member wouldn't help me! Luckily another staff guy, worked their system and I eventually got my cold drink. It was disappointing and as it was my 1st accommodation contact in NZ, I feared the worst. Just basic stuff but poor attitude. " - Peter May
