"If you are looking for budget hotel with a good location then this is fantastic 5 mins walk from lancaster gate station. We were 4 lads wanting a cheap hotel for the weekend but its not the place for a romantic weekend. The reception was getting revamped so it consisted of a table and a chair. "Very disappointing. The dirtiest hotel i have ever stayed in. stains on floor, underbed not hovered in years, walls, bedspread. Sheets ill-fitting, curtains hanging down, net curtain black with dirt. Only one dirty cup in a double room. urine stains on toilet seat. Hotel description:

Ventures Hotel has been run by the same family for more than 30 years. You will find the hotel located deep in the heart of London, close to Hyde Park, Oxford Street and the West End.

Both Paddington mainline and Edgware Road underground stations are only a few minutes walk away.

The Ventures Hotel has 40 rooms. All rooms have telephone, colour television and central heating and hand basin, some rooms have Private Bathrooms.

Hotel receptionists are able to converse in English, Urdu and Arabic.

IMPORTANT: the hotel will be carrying out minor refurbishment in communal areas until April 2009. Please be aware this will mean there is work being carried out between the hours of 9 and 4, Monday to Saturday.
