"Only downside was that the room had the appearance of having been cleaned e.g. toilet paper folded to show bathroom was done; linen sharp, however rubbish from previous occupant was not removed (not vacuumed around the perimeter) and bench tops were finely littered with bits of paper. Iron has a sticky spot on it- this can be cleaned off with an iron cleaner. Everything else was fantastic. i would still go back again." - Anonymous
"A lovely new hotel in a superb location. Close to harbour and short walk to shops. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. It was a most enjoyable stay." - Janine Simonson
"Clean and in a great location. Very disappointed with service both in hotel and in restaurant. Requested 2 single beds, received a king, then had to ask four times for this to be changed (simple request really!) Dinner was good at restaurant but staff were slow." - Anonymous
"The position is good if you are attending a conference at the new convention centre - but otherwise it is out of the way and not close to facilities such as restaurants. There is only 1 restaurant in the hotel and it is expensive.
I thought our double room was small and the "ocean view" (extra cost) was only possible if you were an acrobat. We did not have a balcony, only one small window. There are several large apartment blocks being built between the hotel and the ocean! We looked out upon a huge building site. Our room was a long way from the lifts and no-one offered to take our bags to the room nor collect them on checkout. Over priced." - Anonymous
