Vibe Hotel Darwin Waterfront

Good location and close to restaurants around the harbour. Planning to come back to Darwin and will stay at same location next trip. Had a good deal as it was wet season. Don't know what full price is.

Stayed here mid December Good location by the waterfront and nice minimal room has everything you need I liked that there were not hoards of people milling around the hotel which is due to the way it is set out and location rather that the level of fullness.The waterfront is a lovely place to hang out wave pool bars cafes and lagoon easy walk to the city great views Found the staff very helpful both in the restaurant and the desk car parking is additional the issued swipe card worked well. I like the Curve restaurant it would have been nice to have real muesli as an option at breakfast and hot pastries and a full menu in the room would be helpful Will come back here.

The Vibe is in a great small hotel in a wonderful location. A short stroll to Stokes Whalf, Cafe's Restaurants, Wave pool. Sky Walk bridge connects you to the city. Staff very polite, especially the night duty officer. we arrived at the hotel 3am in the morning after living over seas for two years he was a credit to the Top End told us of all the great changes happening in Darwin. Made us feel very welcome to be back home and proud that Aussies are so professional.

We had a good time here, great place to stay, convenient to everything.

Fantastic location, nice modern hotel, good pool, nice restaurants nearby. Quiet and well appointed, but within easy walking distance to the CBD. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

All was well, the staff in the restaurant at breakfast could be a little more enthusiastic and cheerful. The staff at reception were great!

Modern, clean room in a good location walking distance to Darwin central. Cafe and pub wave pool and safe swimming beach all at your door. Secure underground parking.

Good new hotel, well located convenient to the Wharf area and to the centre of Darwin.

The hotel is modern, the staff friendly, co-operative and polite. The hotel is well situated to take advantage of the newly developed waterfront location, within easy walking distance of a number of new facilities as well as the main CBD.

The hotel location is perfect - it's close to the wharf (with fantastic food stalls) and 5 mins to shopping streets Smith Street and Mitchell Street (via the sky walk). There is an awesome Wave Pool at the back of the hotel and a spa facility next door. The yummy Il Lido (Italian restaurant) is also a slow 5 mins walk away. Housekeeping service can however improve a lot - on one occasion, our room was not even made at 4pm!

I stayed at Vibe for the second time because last stay was really good. This stay I had trouble with my scan card working to open my room on several occasions. Each time I went to reception it was slow to get the cards re-swipped so they'd work again. Check in and check out were rather slow too. The room keeping was not as good this time - one morning I had no milk, another morning they replaced the garbage bag in the bin but left the garbage next to the bin, and one day I found an orange stain on one of the towels. The location out the front of the lagoon/wave pool/convention centre and Stokes Hill Wharf dining precinct is fantastic. It's only a short walk to the Darwin CBD shopping areas up a lift and over the air bridge. Great having a window view of the waterfront and enjoying the sea breeze.

The Vibe Darwin is situated in a great position to access the waterfront, restaurants and the main part of the city. All were in easy walking distance. The hotel facilities were equal to what we have experienced in major cities and the staff were friendly and helpful. We have already recommended the hotel to friends who are travelling to Darwin in a few months.

We had a great time,in a great location with nice little cafes surrounding the hotel (after all, it is wet season, so it was on the quiet side). A short stroll over the skybridge into the town centre. The aqua view room had views over the wharf, wave pool, conference centre and waterfront. The only thing that let the hotel down was the stained grouting in the shower/bath. Will stay here again.

Overall modern and well located with close walking proximity to Darwin, the wave pools, the deckchair cinema and the Wharf. The Front Desk could really improve perceptions. Staff can be 'hit and miss' in terms of experience and friendliness (however it is front desk staff that help form impressions!) and there seemed to be a lot of temporary/student staff. They didn't seem to understand our booking and it took about 3 attempts before we got what we were after in terms of rooms and booking numbers. Their key card issuing machine seemed to malfunction (one was shared between 3) and required re-programming almost everyday.
