"Nice place. If Siena is the focus then ok to get to once you know how (buses). Maybe transit information could be upfront with the booking. Much cheaper than in town for same quality. Lovely and quiet compared to a Siena hotel.
Lost property system was problematic, but I got the item back in the end.

The Vico Alto Hotel enjoys a magnificent view over Siena.
It has been very well refurbished and is located on a quiet hill giving the hotel its name.
The hotel has 47 bedrooms, a living room, a lounge bar, and sheltered gardens.
Each bedroom is provided with a private bathroom, a direct dial phone, a satellite TV set, and self-adjustable air conditioning.
The restaurant is an ideal structure for banquets, ceremonies, and party groups - it can provide accomodation for 100/130 people.

Follow exit “Siena Nord”.
At the first cross turn left and straight for mt.300.
Turn right to “Vico Alto” direction (this is your first street on your right), and you are in “Via delle Regioni”.
Go on for about mt.650 ca. and you can see our Hotel on your left!
From South (Rome/Grosseto):
When you are on “Tangen- ziale” (bypass) follow the north direction and exit to “Siena Nord”; now you can follow mentioned instructions, above.
