The reception was very friendly and informative We were upgraded to an on suite which was good we felt that some of the hotel facilities were in need of updating. old louver window need replacing to help stop insects in the bed rooms. resturant was closed as not in high season. The breakfast was included which was just as well as there is very limited places to eat near by Staff were exstreemly helpful but dinnig room needed more care when cleaned location for walks in the blue mountains was perfect and staff knowledge of walks great
It's a beautiful historical building - especially the lounge, but its facilities definitely need renovations. Breakfast was good!

The new owners are contending with problems left over from the prevous ones: Peeling paint, odourous carpets, damaged and mismatched fixtures and some water damage. I acknowledged the challenge they have ahead of them and wished them luck. If you are expecting Victorian charm and spendor, they aren't there - yet. If you want friendly service and a relaxed stay, give them a go and help them make their dream come true.
A good place to stay inbetween the three sisters and Jenolan Caves. Didn't pay much for the room so I didn't expect much and as expected it was just ok. Service was good, first time I ever got a tour of a place upon arrival. The English breakfast that was included was only cereal, toast and a few other little things. Biggest disappointment was with the pool as it was such a hot weekend. The pool was filthly .
My wife & I enjoyed the experience @ this guesthouse and would recommend this accomodation to other people wanting a peaceful, relaxing and comfortable surrounding. The service was excellent however there could be a larger variety of wine to choose from in the dinning room. The meals selection was limited however delicious.
Pleasent stay, very quite, good size room.
Exceptional service, friendly, warm and receptive. Would book again.
Old Style Guesthouse with Friendly Staff and Great Bed. The spa was awesome too.
A charming place with a relaxing and private atmosphere. The food was great.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. A great place for a relaxing getaway. Restaurant excellent
We enjoyed the stay very much. Owners were very friendly/helpfull & only too happy to advise us on areas of interest around their villiage for us to enjoy our Mountain biking. We'll definitely be back!
Very very friendly serive that made you feel completely at home!
Everything was nice and comfortable. If i had more time I would want to stay longer.
The staff are friendly but the hotel is looking a little tired.
The owners were very friendly, made you feel at home. Dinner was beautiful as was breakfast. Suggest maybe fans in the rooms for Summer time.
A very nice hotel for a quiet relaxing holiday,no tv and phones in the room was a shock, but it made our holiday more relaxing. Our Hosts were both very welcoming and made us feel part of the family. The price was a bit expensive, but we were there for the New Year.. I would definitely consider it again...more so if they offered reasonable Special, weekend breaks.
We wanted a quiet weekend away in an historic type setting, and that's exactly what we got. The service was great, staff very friendly and the room and restuarant everything we could've expected. The area has a great deal of pride in its history and we hope that it stays that way. We'd certainly stay there again.
