Very beautiful location, a bit isolated and difficult to find. You absolutely need a car to get there. We missed a refrigerator in the room.

The villa is located on a high hill that allows you to see the entire valley. The landscape is very beautiful and makes you feel far away from all problems. Outside of Florence (Firenze), it ofers good conditions for the right money.
Lovely view and a lovely place. A bit difficult to find the hotel. Practical to go there by car, if not be prepared for a walk uphill........... Easy to get to Florence by bus. Nice breakfast. Nice room.Recommended!
The hotel is at the top of a steep hill - we had a car and needed it! To find the hotel you must follow the instructions carefully, keep a good look-out for the turning and keep going up the hill! Once there it's very pleasant. There is a restaurant adjacent to the hotel, and though we did not rate it highly it obviously does much business. The hotel is "isolated" but we were able to get the provisions we needed in the village. The hotel was certainly a good base for travel in to Florence - we used a new underground car park suggested by the hotel staff which proved very good (and had remarkably clean loos).
You need a car to get here, but it's only 20 minutes from the heart of the city and easily found from the autostrada (they could use a map on their website though). For its price very good value. Beautiful view from parking lot, not necessarily from your room. Tasteful, clean rooms, friendly staff. Stay here if you want a break from the hustle and bustle of Florence.
I was happily surprised at this beautiful Villa Hotel. However, the road leading to the Hotel is in very poor condition. We arrived late at night and had a difficult time getting there.
The restaurant "Montebuoni" which is on the side of the hotel is very good. The service is perfect and people are very kind. There is live music (piano and/or singer) for the dinner. Very good atmosphere ! To access to the hotel, you must have a car (or you really like to walk!), because it is placed on the top of a hill.
