"The hotels room was large it was a little ways from the train station we walked it with our bags. It's a little bit of a walk to the attractions but it's not so far out you can't walk to them or it's a short bus ride and you are in the heart of town. Hotel staff was nice internet is free breakfast was okay. The hotel is in an area that is quite and nice has kind of in a park like area of town was nice to get back there after a day of sightseeing. Villa Carlotta is a romantic turn of the century Villa, situated in the wooded avenues surrounding Piazzale Michelangelo and the southern city walls of Florence, at walking distance from Pitti Palace and Ponte Vecchio, charmingly equipped with all modern comforts.
Villa Carlotta, tucked away, oblivious to the noises of the bustling town, provides a uniquely serene atmosphere, intimate and suggestive.
The public areas are gracious and welcoming; all rooms are equipped with air conditioning, colour satellite TV, minibar, telephone and safe. A nice small terraced garden is at our Guests disposal. In the elegant restaurant "Il Bobolino" one may savour excellently prepared typical tuscan dishes and in the American Bar, a full range of cocktails will delight you.

From the Florence Airport A. Vespucci there is a direct bus service called "Airport shuttle" (bus nr. 62), to the railway station.
The bus leaves every 30 minutes and runs from 6:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.. Tickets can be bought on board or at the Airport.
FROM RAILWAY STATION
there are buses (nr. 36 or 37) to Porta Romana Square. Tickets can be bought in the Tabacchi shops. Get off in Porta Romana and take the "Viale Machiavelli" . Our hotel is situated in the second street on the right side of this boulevard.
BY CAR
Coming from the highway A1, take the exit "Firenze Certosa" ; turn left, following signs to "Firenze centro". Pass the Village Galluzzo and follow the Via Senese for about 2 miles. Follow signs to "Porta Romana" square .
As you have reached the square, turn right in the Viale Machiavelli and than take the second street on the right, where the hotel is situated.
