We stayed in a 1-bedroom apartment and the room was spacious, modern, clean and well-decorated. Staff were friendly and helpful. The view of the Remarkables and Lake Wakatipu from the living room was spectacular. In room facilities which included washer, dryer, stove/oven, disher washer, etc. were all in very good condition. Utensils, china, silverware were all very clean, new and well stocked. The only minor items in short supply or lacking were paper kitchen towels and tissue. Although not exactly in the town centre, it was only a 3-5 minute drive. We highly recommend Villa Del Lago, especially for folks who appreciate having your own kitchen and laundry facilities.
Guests must be able to climb the stairs from the lower apartments to the reception area/buses. Very friendly and accommodating staff/owners. Beautiful view and comfortable and clean accommodations.

Beautiful newish apartments with fabulous views across lake to mountain range. A good walk into town (1.5kms) or a $7 cab fare. Service was great and we loved our stay, would go back.

Fantasic and excellent lake and mountain views from the 3 bedroom apartment we stayed in. The hotel is about 5 minutes from the city center but the views are so good we didn't want to go out!
We loved staying at the Villa Del Lago. The room was warm and inviting, and the views were exquisite. We would definitely recommend the hotel, and wish we could have stayed longer.
