We have stayed here many times. We like this place because when we travel with our daughter we like to have the kitchen to whip her up some lunch or a snack when she needs it. The rooms have everything you need. We book the large studio room, it gives you a full size fridge. The grocery store is across the street, there is laundry facilities, there is a dr's office, Costco is a long walk or a $4.00 taxi ride away. The beach is great. The pool is beautiful (all the pools, there are 3) the pool service is good. If you get the breakfast included, that's a really good deal. The buffet is decent, hot food is hot, cold food is cold. The omlette station is great. The Old Town is a $4.00 taxi ride away. Don't stay in PV if you don't plan to go Old Town, The charm of PV is there, not in Nuevo. We go out for dinner every night. The food in the restaurants at the hotel at night is expensive. The daytime poolside menu is well priced. If you want five star, this place is not for you. If you are a normal working family or couple, you can"t find a hotel with a friendlier staff, or a safer place to have a relaxing vacation. Everything you need is close by.I think many of the reviews on this hotel are harshly written by snobs who should probably go to Hawaii instead. This is Mexico People!! This hotel is favoured by Canadians and I would say it is more of an over 40's crowd. Quiet time is 11pm which worked well for us. Our stay Dec 3-19 was great. The place is packed with regulars who come for months, year after year. What does that tell you? The weather is always great Oct- May. The staff here are very nice and many have been there a very long time. They remember you year after year. We had a couple repair issues with our room that were addressed when we politely requested assistance Also, if you want to go to a better Walmart or a Soriana's, (grocery store) go to the ones by Costco. They are newer and a bit better for a "stock up" shopping trip when you first arrive. Use the across the street one for day to day.

we really enjoyed our time at this hotel. Breakfast was included in our hotel price. This was fantastic and although we are not great fans of anything all inclusive, the daily breakfast ended being something we enjoyed immensely. Sitting outside every morning in the cooler air and eating was very relaxing and a great start to our day! So thank you for this bonus!!!! Room comfort rated lower due to significant air conditioned fan noise from nearby hotel.

Have stayed here before, so we knew what we were getting. This was our first trip to PV in high season, however, and my only complaint is that there weren't enough pool chairs so you had to get up at 7:00AM to put your towels out. Great location for us, as there's a grocery store very close by and a short bus or cab ride to the action or restaurants downtown. Very little timeshare activity here, so no pressure or hard sell for us at all. Room was very clean and had a great view of the pool and beach area, and the beach here is free from the rocks found in the surf at other nearby hotel's beaches.

I did not get the exact room I had booked. It took the Reception Desk clerk named Anita almost an hour to find my reservation. She said they did not save the original booking for me and there were no more 2 bedroom suites available for me. Instead, I got an hotel room plus a 1 bedroom suite for the rest of my family in a different building. She worked very hard to find me the rooms as the hotel was overbooked and she said the day before they had to send a lot of people to other hotels because they were overbooked. I do not think this is the way an hotel of this calibre should handle their reservations and I wil not be staying there again, EVER.
