Getting there:Located few steps away from the public landings to St. Mark, reachable in 10 minuts by public waterbuses.It is very easy to reach from the highway (follow indications to Venezia until the end of the bridge over the lagoon until you'll see indications to Tronchetto,this is the terminal of ferryboat that brings the cars directly to Lido),from the airport (easiest way at the airport exit towards the lagoon youll find the public waterbus Alilaguna that brings you to the LIDO,the second stop; the second way is to take the public bus on the road direct to the bus terminal Piazzale Roma and there change to the public waterbus line 51 direct to the Lido);the railway station (at the exit you will find the public waterbus line 51 every 20 minutes direct to the Lido).Once you get off at Venice Lido, just follow the large main avenue across the square for about 150 meters, until you will see the via Negroponte street. A few steps down the street you will be in front of the hotel.

Car parking:No private car parking available. On the street surrounding the hotel is a public parking payable at 1.00 per hour from 8:00 in the morning til 8:00 in the evening. During the night, Sundays and holidays are free.

Bathroom was tiny! Shower had no room to even turn around in. Location was good. Short walk about 3 blocks from boat ramp. Street was quiet as well as private with several resturaunts within walking distance.
beautiful place and close to the vaporetto stop on lido, but still a pain to get to venice. quite expensive, but half the price of anything on venice island. great breakfast. comfortable terrace. shower was a bit small, but all was clean.

Calm location on a nice island. Expensive boat-buses! The hotel offers a free visit to Glass factory. Very nice!
Easy to get to and find from Airport by boat.

Excellent hotel located on LIDO island. 2 min walk from Water bus which takes you to center of Venice in 10min. Lido is beautiful place itself - much quiter at night than Venice, reastaurants are a bit cheaper. Breakfast is very good - ham , chees, curassans, toasts as many as you want which is not common for Venice hotels! On top of that Lido has beautiful beache on southcoast which we enjoed during sunny days. So "Villa Edera" was execllent choice for us.
Even though the hotel was far from mainland venice, the area was beautiful for walks... and the waterbus station was at 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel... the staff was veryu friendly and cooperative...

Average facilities, tiny rooms, good location though - can be reached by car which is a major plus for Venice (if you do travel by car). Walking distance from the main boat station (Lido) going to the center of Venice. Good price compared with other Venice hotels. Nothing spectacular otherwise.
Villa Edera Hotel is a very charming, clean and comfortable hotel located a little way from the city center and the train station (about 15-35 minutes by waterbus, and then just a couple of minutes walk from the stop "Lido" ). It is suitable if you wish to stay somewhere quiet and visit Venice.

We were very pleased with this hotel. the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and tidy and a good breakfast was provided. It was in a quiet location and easy to get to from the airport. The waterbus terminal was only 5mins from the hotel providing a regular service to St Marks a journey of 10 mins. Overall the hotel was very good value for the money.
Villa Edera is an excellent choice. It is extremely tranquil and relaxed on the island of Lido but only 4 stops on the ferry to san marco plaza. the hotel is quite beautiful.
Lido is a great location to get away from the San Marco crowds. A 15 min vaporetto ride to central Venice and the crowds. Great rooms, bathroom and breakfast. A good base for Venice exploration a provides a respite from floods and people...
The location of hotel was very convenient for us to use a public boat from Lido to St. Markus place. The building was new and the room was cosy and clean bath room, just the room was quite small. We had a good offer from this hotel club internet page, but the prise seems still expensive for us. Venice is famous for small room and expensive price, so we can not complain... For the short stay in Venice this hotel is a good choice.

Very clean! Lovely at'phere, terrific b'fast, great coffee, good range of teas. The room on the top floor had a huge terrace. Decor simple, tasteful.Very cosy Bathroom bright, clean. Hot shower.Design of the bathtub was dangerous. Pleasant service, lacked a few essential smiles!Lido was a much preferred location comparing to the main island. Only took a couple of mins walk to the vaparettos from the hotel, very convenient. Very good restaurants mins away. Wonderful stay!
