This hotel is a hidden gem , it may seem a little away from the main tourist area but a short tram ride at 1euro and you are at piazza de popolo - the benefit is it is quiet - good nights sleep- you have some excellent local restaurants at very reasonable prices and you see a different side of Rome - having said that we managed to walk to the main sites from this hotel Service was excellent and very friendly - look out for katerina and pasquale they were brillianht Rooms comfortable and very clean not modern or trendy very much in keeping with italien hotels There is a nice little bar area , breakfast was adequate and enough to keep you going all in all I would definately use this hotel again if coming to Rome - the price was very reasonable and as with everything you pay a premium for being too central and I think the benefits of staying here vastly outweigh any negatives - couldn't find any negatives! Lovely stay.
As last month Villa Glori again. Same good feeling.
Comfortable room with all the facilities
A nice surprise, this hotel of the Lo.An Group, I think a local hotel enterprise which often have jolly deals. This hotel is a 4 stops tram journey or a 15 minutes walk away from Piazza del Popolo, a location which can be very favorable. The structure is very nice, almost London-like (the parallel street is called Small London by the vox popoli). The rooms, mine at least, are small but effective. The personnel is nice and gave a okay tip for dining (place called Romanina). When the price is so low as xxxxxxx offered in off season this hotel is one of the best in his category. ef (NL) regulary hotelling in Rome
Lovely little hotel down a quiet cul-de-sac yet a few minutes tram ride to central Rome. Modern tiled, airy and very compact but clean room. Would have liked a room with bath on a higher floor for the price, but we were allocated a room at back of hotel on ground floor, with shower only. It was very dark in there as half underground, and with no view apart from wall, but there are only a couple of rooms like this and one advantage was that it was very cool and quiet. Not sure how to book the better rooms! Hotel seemed to be well used by business people. Breakfast well stocked throughout. Wi-Fi €6 for 24 hours.
Room small but adequate, breakfast standard, staff attentive & helpful. Good value.
Friendly, and welcoming service. Love the contrast between the old building and the contemporary interior of the hotel. What a gem. Would definately come back.
A very nice 3* hotel option for Rome. The neighbourhood is lovely, clean and a very nice alternative to the bustle and shabbiness of center storico. Besides, it is in walking distance to Piazza di Poppolo, so very convenient as well. Rooms are charming and clean, although of typical rome hotel size, i.e, small. The front desk service is very polite and helpful. So if you are looking for a change from Spanish Steps or Navona this is a safe bet.
the place os good for commuting around rome, because its right next to a tram n bus station, also the guy at the check in desk was very helpful. so hope you also enjoy your stay at the place. only the breakfast is not the usual european delight, but i guess thats the way around italy :)
It was quite expensive to stay here but we stayed over the new year period so all hotels in rome were more expensive than they usually are and this was one of the cheapest. All rooms have recently been renovated, the hotel had great decor, the room was very modern, excellent new bathroom and an LCD tv with sky + programmes in english. Would definitely stay here again. Location great, take tram no 2 for 5 mins, 3 stops and you are in a main area which has great shops and then you can walk to the spanish steps and trevi fountain etc.
A good quiet position. Walking distance to Piazza Popolo about 25 minutes. Rooms very nicely decorated. Bathroom reasonable size and well finished. A number of small restaurants in immediate vicinity which were reasonably priced. On bus route 910 direct from Termini station.
Very nice treatment. Personal was very nice and polite. I can think of staying there again.
A nice and clean hotel in a silent side-street.Well connected to metro(3 stops by tram) and Piazza di popolo. It was a little difficult to find the hotel because of 2 different adresses.Via Vignole is better than via Celentano mentioned in the hotel fax. The last one is so not known. It is better way to reach the Termini by metro than bus. Our hotel room was quite small and I suppose so were the other rooms.I didn´t like the smell of the smoke in our room. There were no rooms for no-smokers.
