This small, intimate hotel is ideally situated in Stockholm's Royal Djurgården Park, yet only five minutes from the city centre with its numerous attractions. Travellers with a taste for something truly Swedish-style will appreciate the hotel's gourmet restaurant, which specialises in traditional cuisine and has an extensive wine cellar.
Swedish summers are renowned for long hours of daylight and to capture this atmosphere Villa Källhagen uses plenty of glass in its design. The 36 bedrooms all have large windows and some of them skylights with breathtaking views of the Djurgården canal. Visitors have been staying in Djurgården since the first inn opened in 1810 and the park remains a popular venue, especially during summer. The Villa Källhagen's pretty garden is the perfect place to watch the world go by during the warmer month, while in winter its cosy interior, complete with open fires, provide plenty of opportunity to snuggle up
