The Hotel was built as a private house of "Conte Albizi" and until 1960 was the English consulate. The Hotel is 15 minutes walking from the heart of Florence and is easily reachable from ring roads.
The rooms and the suite, most of them with 19th century's frescoes are spacious and bright . The hotel offers all modern comforts: all rooms are provided with private bathroom with tub or shower, telephone, TV. There is a mini-bar and air-conditioning in most but not all of the rooms. We also have 2 rooms equipped for disabled.

Getting there:
By car from north: from A1 highway take the exit "Firenze Nord", follow signs to town center. Drive on "Viale Redi" towards the centre of Florence, cross the main boulevard and take "Via G.Monaco". Turn left at "V.F.lli Rosselli" and drive under the railway. Continue along "Via Filippo Strozzi", turn right and go along"Viale S.Lavagnini". In "Piazza della Libertà" keep your right and continue along "Viale Matteotti" and when you are in "Piazza Donatello" turn right in "Via Alfieri".
By car from south: from A1 highway take the exit "Firenze Sud" follow signs to town center. Drive along the Arno river following the boulevard "Lungarno Aldo Moro" which turns in "Lungarno Cristoforo Colombo". When you find "Ponte San Niccolò" bridge on your left, turn right in "Viale G. Amendola". You will pass "Piazza Beccaria" and continue straight on "Viale A. Gramsci". When you arrive in "Piazzale Donatello", you should drive around it and turn right into "Viale Alfieri".
