Villa Marchisa Residence Bucharest

"We stayed in Villa Romana which was in an excellent location with an easy walk to many attractions in Bucharest. The kitchen was fully equipped (except for a bottle opener!) and easy to use. The facitlities were clean and the washing machine was a real bonus! It was a little noisy because of traffic but the noise settled overnight and on weekends. We were comfortable in the apartment and got some exercise climbing the seven flights of stairs to and from the apartment. There was a lift but we preferred the stairs. There is a small supermarket in the streets behind the apartment block that we bought groceries from. It is very close to the Romanian Atheneum where we attended an excellent concert for a reasonably cheap price. We walked everywhere except to the airport from this location." - Jane Frost

"This was a beautiful 2-bed and 2-bath apartment in an area that made us feel very safe. The staff were very helpful.When the reception wasn't open when we expected for checking in, other staff arrranged for our luggage to be kept safe so it all worked out. The kitchen was well-equipped so we cooked. And, for the three of us, it cost less than a hotel room normally does. " - kenneth gray
