Villa Margherita Hotel Levanto is a restored classic Italian villa located on the last undiscovered coastal section of the Italian Riviera, in the village of Levanto, just north of the Cinque Terre. The villa, built in 1906, was recently restored by the Campodonico family and is now a charming and well known small hotel (B&B) run by Federico Campodonico. Levanto is a town of old world charm and prices. It has a good beach, many shops and restaurants and is one train stop away from the Cinque Terre - making it the perfect base for your trip to this region.

Getting there:To Reach us by Road: The A12 autostrada runs north and south along the coast from Genoa to Livorno. Exit from the A12 at Carrodano-Levanto. Take the direction west following signs to Levanto. This road will bring you right into Levanto (about 10 minutes drive). To Reach us by Train: Faster trains are Eurostar (ES), Intercity (IC) or Direct (D). The Regional (R) is a local train - stops in every station. Many of the faster trains stop in Levanto. Check your train schedule. Example Train Times to Levanto Train times depend on the type of train. Times quoted here are for the fastest trains to Levanto. Milan: under 3 hours Rome: under 5 hours Florence: under 3 hrs Use www.fs-on-line.com for train information. To Reach us by Air: The closest airports are Milan (Malpensa), Rome (Fiumicino), Pisa, Bologna, or Florence. From these airports you can drive to Levanto or take the train.

Great hotel with a great view of the mountains. I enjoyed the breakfast and I found the staff to be very helpful and polite. The room was clean but basic. I would definately stay here again.
The staff were very helpfull and friendly. After arriving all you had to do was ring them and they picked you up at the train station and dropped you off there as well. Breakfast selection was good.
Villa Margherita was a fantastic place to stay in Levanto. The rooms were great, both clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, with cereal, bread, fruit, jams and italian cakes (not to mention the freshly made Italian coffee!). The staff were always friendly and helpful. With only a 5 minute walk to the beach, it was a perfect location. We would definitely stay there again (and in Levanto!!)
We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Margerita. The staff are friendly and helpful. Great location and our room had sea views. Good facilities with free internet provided. Very good value for money. Would definitely recommend.
