Villa Quaranta Park Hotel is a wonderful 17th century historic Villa in the heart of Valpolicella Classica the famous wine region, ideally located few kms from Lake Garda and from the Art City of Verona. The property consists of several buildings, both historic and modern, surrounded by park and gardens. 87 rooms comfortable and elegant. Complete the property: the Convention&Event Center up to 450 people; the Restaurant Borgo Antico inserted in the historic Villa to enjoy delicious local cuisine together with a wide selection of wines; the Cantina in Villa the ancient cellar , ideal location for wine&food tasting; the beautiful SPA Terme della Valpolicella(2500 square meters) offers free access for hotels guests to the equipped Fitness area, the Water area with 4 indoor pools, whirlpools and outdoor pool for summer season (bathing cap in water area is compulsory). On payment: Saunas-Thermarium area (with Finnish Sauna, Calidarium, Snow Room, Emotional Showers, Mediterranean, Effervescent beds, Kneipp path, Relax area with water beds, Relax area with tea and infusion) and Aesthetic area with a wide range of massage and beauty treatments.

Getting there:
Villa Quaranta Park Hotel is located in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica, a well-known red wine production area, between Lake Garda and the city of Verona (10 km). From the highway. Exit Verona Nord. At the roundabout follows the signs for Pescantina Valpolicella. After about 9 km take the exit to Trento SS12. Continue on SS12 for about 1,5 km. The entrance of the Hotel is on your left. From the airport Valerio Catullo Villafranca. The Hotel lies about 12 km away from the airport. Drive on the free highway towards Pescantina/Valpolicella. After about 9 km take the exit for Trento SS12. Continue on SS12 for about 1,5 km. The entrance of the Hotel is on your left.

Check-in Procedure:
A valid document and a credit card required at the check in Internet access - wireless: available (fee apply) in all rooms, common areas and in the Convention&Events Center. Indoor pools closed for maintenance from 09th to 27th of July 2012 Sauna-Thermarium area closed for maintenance from 06th to 24th of August 2012

The hotel is very nice but we were quite disappointed upon arrival, when we realised that it's not a nice old villa in a beautiful park. The website forgets to mention the ugly new buildling (still under construction) in the middle of the park which completely ruins the ambience. The service is good, the staff is helpful, but not very friendly. If you can forget the new building and have a good GPS, you certainly will have a good time here.

At least basic knowledge of Italian comes useful since most of the staff cannot speak anything else. Try to avoid the water-aerobics time at the pool and you'll be more than happy. Oh, yes, the breakfast was surprisingly versatile for Italy. And they don't serve the usual coffee bvut bring you real cappuccino.
