Getting there:The Hotel Villa Toscane is located on the lakehore road, opposite the Royal Plaza Montreux 5* and the conference centre and the Stravinski auditorium, only two minutes on foot from Lake Geneva.
Check-in Procedure:Check in and check out are made at the Reception desk of the Royal Plaza Montreux (oposite to the road) - Open 24h00 a day - A valid credit card or cash deposit in Swiss Franc is required to receive room keys.
Car parking:Public parking at CHF 15.- per day and Private and secured Indoor parking at CHF 28.- per day
Child Policy:1 extra bed available only in the Superior category: * Free of charge for child until 5 years old * CHF 60.- supplement for child up to 6 years old (To be paid directly at the hotel)
Access through the 5-star hotel across the street, and when they overbooked we got a free upgrade to the better hotel. Nothing special really...
Definitely worth the cost. Near Lake Geneva. Only setback is they no counter staff at Villa Tuscane. Near to go over to Royal across the road to get the staff
It is a nice hotel at a very good location. Provides additional facilities at the sister hotel.

Villa Toscane is a 4 star hotel. It is excellence especially for the buffet breakfast, indoor swimming, etc.
we have been in villa toscane while the montreux jazz festival. location was great, the offered facilities (breakfast, wellness) in hotel royal plaza very good. villa toscane needs to be renovated, but all in all the rooms are ok. we will come back next year.
Standard double room was very small, no table, one chair only, with view on a wall. No value for money! Standard single room was more alike a prison: very small, barred (!) window placed high (only accessible when standing on a chair) and with a view on a wall, just above the pavement. No value for money. Superior room is comfortable, although a bath was missing. Just a narrow douche. Nice view and access to the roof terrace. At first sight maintenance of the building was good, but at closer inspection one could find several back cases (especially the roof terrace). Ridiculous that you have to pay for WiFi considering the room-rate.
Because we stayed off-season, breakfast was served in an adjacent Hotel which was excellent!
We were given a very spacious room with large windows and wonderful views. This charming hotel is in an excellent location, and the staff were very pleasant and helpful.
A gem close to the heart of Montreux (taxi from main station 10 CHF). Fantastic former villa with nice rooms and pleasant staff (ask them for any information and help you may need; they are proud of their Montreux!). 3rd floor rooms with direct access to the enormous terrace are fabulous. Breakfast room and small bar but no restaurant, instead take the bus passing the hotel which brings you to all the nice places. Remember, Montreux is a small city with a lot to enjoy!
Although the website indicates that parking is available, there are only four spaces at the hotel. Paid parking is available in a garage next door. Excellent breakfast provided for free with a good amount of time available for early risers or late sleepers. Rooms were small, even by European standards, and the bathroom was insanely small, you literally could not turn around without hitting a wall. Nice location with lake views and walking distance to shops/restaurants.
Although this hotel does not directly overlook Lac Leman it is very close to Montreux's lovely promendade & this presents a wonderful short walk into the town centre. Breakfast is good & staff looked after us really well. Would definately go back in future.
Nice hotel within walking distance of Montreux centre. Nice decor, with Tiffany style lights and mirrors. Very comfortable beds.
