The staff were first class and very very helpful. As in many Paris hotels the room was small but it had everything we needed and was kept very clean. We would definitely return to this hotel for another stay.
Avoid room 1. It is right next to the breakfast area and you won't sleep after 7am. Overall a cheapish hotel with leaky bathtubs. Convenient but not more.
It was a quiet comfortable experience. The room was small but quaint. The front office was friendly, and very helpful. The gentleman made sure I had reservations for LIDO. A must see if you visit Paris! The atmosphere of this villa hotel is olde Paris and definatly carried the colorful energy of Van Gogh!
Villa Van Gogh looked good on outside Rooms are very small and overlook a brick wall. Book front facing rooms. Location very good but would not stay there again as we would prefer a more spacious layout. The staff would not solve any of the problems that occured during our stay, such as no light in the bathroom, shortage of pillows, also no tea/coffee facilities in our room. Overall it was quite and location was excellent
It was a nice location, easy to get to most of the attractions by metro and even walking distance to central Paris. The rooms were nice but quite small, its not a very spacious hotel but the staff seemed friendly and service was good. The room was comfortable and well-equiped.
Nice hotel in faboulus surroundings!
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in November 2005. The description of the room is not entirely accurate. There were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room and also no safety deposit box but apart from that, no complaints. Comfortable Bed, decent shower, good continental breakfast, Excellent location with lots to do.
