The Vincci Mediterráneo Hotel opened in 2002 February. It is located in the neurological and business centre of Almería, near the best Shopping Centre in the city, 5 minutes away from the bus/train station, 10 from the airport and 15 from the Conference Hall. The Vincci Mediterráneo Hotel offers 2 excellent "a la carte" Restaurants, 2 spacious meeting rooms and a beautiful area for any kind of event. Getting there:Only 15 minutes away from the airport and 5 minutes away from the main station, the historic and business centre and the beach. From the Almeria International Airport, you must take the A7 motorway, direction to Almeria and take the Carretera de Ronda exit, direction to Mediterráneo Avenue. From the Intermodal train & coach station, you must take Carretera de Ronda, direction to Mediterráneo Avenue.
Check-in Procedure:Check-In time is guaranteed from 2:00 PM; however we will endeavour to have rooms available for arrival from 10:00 AM. Upon check-in a valid passport or official identity card must be presented along with a valid credit card. Please note this hotel does not accept American Express cards.

The room service was limited by time, which was disappointing as the mini bar didn't contain much either. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel is very modern and clean but characterless. Room was clean, basically furnished and comfortable. Breakfast was a very basic continental breakfast and was certainly not good value for money. It is situated on a fairly steep hill, close to a shopping mall but it is far (not within walking distance) from the town centre. It is not easy to find coming from the motorway and you need to take a circuitous route through the town centre. Apart from the mall, there are very few other attractions and virtually no other restaurants, bars or entertainment in the area. Fine for a business overnight stay if you have a car, otherwise choose a hotel nearer the centre of town.
Overall I think this is a good hotel. The hotel is well situated for Almeria, very close to Alcazaba (by taxi) and a mall two blocks aways.
Located near to an expansive shopping centre which served our commercial and culinary needs. The hotel itself was business-like but friendly. The room was excellent and well-kept. We would use the hotel again if visiting Almeria without a second's thought.
We were very impressed with all services that the hotel had to offer, and would strongly recommend it.
Excellent hotel. Earns every one of its four stars. Probably the friendliest and most efficient staff I've experienced in Spain. Location is a bit far outside of town, Northeast of the city center, but cabs costs practically nothing and are easy to find. It too me 20-30 minutes to walk to the town center, so it's absolutely doable. There is a large shopping center just three blocks uphill, which is very convenient.
