Getting there:The Hotel Via 66 is a four-star establishment in the most luxurious of environments, on one of Madrid’s main shopping streets, right on the "Madrid Broadway", with the best shows in town and just a few minutes' walk from such special places as Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Palacio Real or the Teatro Real.

Sehr nettes Personal, welches gut Englisch spricht. Bei den Attraktionen wurde sogar ein Stadtplan mitgegeben und für die Rückreise ein Taxi vorbestellt. Für den Safe braucht man unbedingt eine Kreditkarte, aber dies wurde auch freundlich erklärt. Wegen der lauten Strasse ist es nicht empfehlenswert mit Kindern anzureisen. Das Hotel ist sonst sehr, sehr empfehlenswert, weil es genau wie auf den Bildern identisch aussieht.
Very happy with the hotel. Great location. Clean & modern
The hotel is in an excellent location in the center of Madrid. It is 10-20 minutes walking distance to several of the shopping districts and tourist sites. It is about 5 minutes walk from the nearest subway station which gives you very easy and fast access to the rest of Madrid. If you are driving there is a public car park in the laneway next to hotel which offer 20% discount if you get the ticket stamped at hotel. Room was clean and offered a reasonable view. Decor is unusual however all things considered this hotel was good value for money and suited our needs very well. Hotel staff were reasonably friendly and helpful and all spoke English well.
Overall the service has been good, our initial check-in was smooth and the facilities were as expected of a hotel with this raing. AS WE WERE UNAWARE OF THE EXACT LOCATION OF THE HOTEL WHEN WE BOOKED WE CANNOT FAIRLY CRITICIZE THE LOCATION. I would certainly recommend this hotel to other people visiting Barcelona. Thanks for the experience.
The best designed hotel that we have ever stayed...........big rooms, excelent style
For me the place to stay in Madrid, a stylish contemporary hotel which is of nice size (thus not a mass tourist hotel), where the staff stretches to give you free internet (the cable in the room connects at Euro 19.95 per 24 hrs), good bedding and extensive breakfast. The location is good too, easy to reach whatever you are looking for. I certainly will be back.
Rooms are very modern and maybe a bit small but in excellent location and good value for money (85 Euro).
Excellent location on Gran Via in the center of Madrid. Very modern hotel. Windows provide good soundproofing since Gran Via is a very busy street and the room was very quiet. Room was spacious and bath had all modern conveniences. Furniture has no drawers to store clothing, which meant living out of your suitcase. Spa, which was included in the room price and one of the reasons we selected this hotel, was not working during our stay. Although it was 75 degrees F and sunny in mid-March, the roof-top solarium was not open at this time of year. One inconvenience is you have to carry your luggage up 7 steps to get to the elevators from the lobby. Based on the location, the room size and the cleanliness, this hotel was a good choice and I would probably stay there again.
Yes it is a very nice hotel and has a very convenient place. I will stay again in my next visit. But the price is a liitle bit high.
