"For me the place to stay in Madrid, a stylish contemporary hotel which is of nice size (thus not a mass tourist hotel), where the staff stretches to give you free internet (the cable in the room connects at Euro 19.95 per 24 hrs), good bedding and extensive breakfast. "Excellent location on Gran Via in the center of Madrid. Very modern hotel. Windows provide good soundproofing since Gran Via is a very busy street and the room was very quiet. Room was spacious and bath had all modern conveniences. Furniture has no drawers to store clothing, which meant living out of your suitcase. Spa, which was included in the room price and one of the reasons we selected this hotel, was not working during our stay. Although it was 75 degrees F and sunny in mid-March, the roof-top solarium was not open at this time of year. One inconvenience is you have to carry your luggage up 7 steps to get to the elevators from the lobby. Based on the location, the room size and the cleanliness, this hotel was a good choice and I would probably stay there again." - Anonymous
