Getting there:The Hotel VIP Berna is located in Lisboa’s city centre, close to the Praça de Touros. Near of the hotel there is a good transportations services, like the bus, the taxis, the underground, and the train (less than 100 meters). It is only 15 minutes away from Lisboa’s international airport, and 5 minutes from downtown.

Very convenient to the metro, Gulbenkian, airport, etc. Staff were nice and accommodating. Room was entirely adequate.
A bit out of the city but close to a metro stop and near the main bus station. Room a good size and comfortable. Breakfast was pretty ordinary. Wifi internet only available in the lobby at 5 euros for 3 hours.
Centrally located near Metro system and restaurants. Easy access to the airport either by car or taxi. Very good value for cost of hotel. Have stayed at this hotel before and that is why we booked it again. Comfortable and clean. Would recommend this hotel to friends and family if they were staying in Lisbon.
The room was quite narrow... but anyway, in my opinion it fully meets the expectations.
I have no complaints about my stay here. It was clean and tidy, but basic. The staff were helpful. It's quite a way out of the downtown but very close to the bullring - where there is also an underground shopping centre which is open until 11pm every day and a metro station. So it was really easy to get around town, and not far to go if you need a shop, or a cafe.

Hotel was in great location very close to the metro. However taxis were very cheap anyway. Very clean rooms and breakfast in the morning was excellent. No complaints at all. Superb choice if you select this hotel especially for the price.

Hotel quite good in general. Breakfast is not perfect, but quite a variety to choose from. and most importantly, Hotel is indeed close to a metro station that close EARLIER than other lines (22h30 instead of 01h00 for other lines). You have to take Bus instead, easy, but good to know beforehand.
It's a good hotel for the price you pay, clean, not very close to the center but close to all means of public transport and in a very quiet neigbourhood. We only didn't like the blankets as we think they are not suitable type of bed covers for a hotel. Young couple from Macedonia.
We enjoyed our stay at the Berna. This was our second stay there. Everything was more than satisfactory for us. We appreciated the car parking facilities. Breakfast was good, nearness to the Metro was convenient. Exiting the hotel to travel north was very convenient also. Thank you! Would stay there again if we ever visit Lisbon again.
Nice hotel for what you need on a short stay in Lisbon. Nothing fancy but good location, taxis are cheap and the metro is useful too. Being located a couple of km from the hustle and bustle it is quiet in the evenings and a good breakfast is always waiting for you in the morning. Watch out if you're on the 10th floor of the hotel though, you could be waiting for the "shoe box" lift for quite a while !!

A modern hotel, with comfortable rooms and wide lobby. Includes garage and a breakfast buffet.
Although the description states the hotel has parking facilities these are somewhat limited and parking is as bad in Lisbon as London.
A good budget alternative.
