"Bayview Wairakei Resort is a lovely recently refurbished hotel set in beautiful grounds adjacent to the thermal wonderland of Wairakei which is situated 10 kilometres South of Lake Taupo in the centre of New Zealand's North Island. The rooms are lovely and one of the highlights are the two thermal pools and a lovely complementary thermal spa. The signature restaurant is tasteful and spacious and we were very pleased with the evening meal we had there. We stay here for weekends once or twice a year and keep coming back. " - Philip Galloway
