The town of Altenberg is situated in the unspoiled region of Sächsische-Schweiz-Kreis, one of the most popular winter sports locations in the eastern Erzgebirge with its magical lakes and snow-covered slopers. The nearby attractions of Dresden, "Saxonian Switzerland", Prague and Meißen make the Hotel a well-known base of numerous excursions.
We host regular evening events and dances at the hotel, providing atmosphere and entertainment. We also offer an extensive range of sports and recreation facilities such as aqua-fitness in our indoor pool, a sauna and wellness area, Nordic walking, archery and guided hiking tours. Mountain bikes, skis and sleds are also available for hire.
