Overall good. The apartment was fairly clean although rather dated. Service was good but disappointed we were not able to get fresh milk. Apparently the hotel does not supply it. Nor do they supply shampoo or conditioner. Shame.
We were generally happy with our stay - not cheap but great location and the apartment was fine, and all the sports facilities including the swimming pool were great. We were only troubled by the outrageously loud construction nosie from next door very early in the morning, and it was a cheek to charge extra for internet when the service was so slow.

Apartment was a good size but very average decor. A bit old fashion. Shower over bath with curtain. Lift only goes to 7th Floor and pool and spa are on 9th Floor. Very close to centre of Canberra which is great for shopping and walking around. Carpark is hopeless to find a spot and then they charge you each night. Breakfast very average and limited. An average place that is not worth any more than the $180 a night paid.
Older premises but clean and convenient, would stay there again
Very convenient to city, sitting room too small when 5th person using fold out bed in 2 bedroom aprt. Fold out bed had been slept in previously - undiscovered by house maids - an SOS to desk at 10.30pm.
My stay at the waldorf apartments was very good and i would not hesistate to stay there again, location was good and the priceing was good overall i was very pleased
Friendly helpful staff, nothing was a problem. We checked our bags in when we arrived before check-in and also when we were leaving later than check-out. A fantastic location, close to the attractions and local public transport system as well as the coach terminal. Our room looked newly refurbished, it had a complete kitchen and laundry which made life easy. Our only complaint was with some other guests who liked to stay up late and party - but in the hallways, including playing "knock and run". We did not alert the hotel staff though, so I am not complaining about the hotel staff.
Nice central location, however rooms could do with redecoration and refurbishment.Staff were very helpful and friendly.
The apartment we stayed in was good. It was disappointing not to have to share the bathroom- an additional ensuite for 2nd room would have been preferred. I wasnt aware of this at the time. Though we found parking this could become difficult in busy periods. The ambiance of corridors and reception areas could be improved. Staff were excellent and we would have liked to stay longer.
Location is excellent. Within walking distance to the city centre. Apartment is clean. My only complain is the heating system didn't work well. One bedroom was very hot and the other was very cold.
Our stay at the Waldorf Apartments was excellent the room was very clean and was a good size, equipt with a small kitchette, great if you were staying longer than one night.
The room service meal was delicious and served in great time. The room was clean & tidy and reception service was very good and friendly.
The one thing that was disappointing was that the toilet kept on running all day and night every thing else was fine, would have thought that eggs were included for breakfast
I was not impressed with the fact that I had to pay for parking in the motel carpark. If it was a carpark elsewhere I would not of had a problem with this
Very friendly staff good value for money we got parking and breakfast included which I wasn't expecting. Only those with keys can use the lifts, so no strangers on the premises.
Great location, great facilities and very clean. One big disapointment - on arrival the girl at reception was more interested in her personal phone call than attending to guests. We were never given the instructions on how to use the security card for the lift - one of the guests we met, came to our rescue because we couldn't reach our floor. We later met more guests who were/had experienced the same difficulty. Over the next few days, the reception staff appeared to be bored - no simple goodmorning, unless prompted. First impressions count; Waldorf need to do something with their reception staff pronto (especially since they are trying to sell off the rooms - not a good sale feature!).
Our apartment for two people was very comfortable with quality kingsize bed and good kitchenette including a full size fridge. Also fax and internet connection so would suit either travellers or business person. A bonus for our package was that a continental breakfast was also included. Close to Civic Centre shops and restaurants.
Airconditioning in common areas near lifts etc was not operational and the air was stale so smelt dusty. Pool is at the top of the building only accessible by two flighs of stairs. I was a bit disappointed by the place generally.
Brilliant location, and one of the few hotels in Canberra where we could get a 2 bedroom apartment. The facilities were fine, and the continental breakfast was good (no hot food, but cereal, yoghurt, toast and coffee). Will stay there again.
We were disturbed by noise from some bar or nightclub close by on both the Friday and the Saturday night. The apartment was on the small side for the price and the kitchen utensils,e.g. microwave dishes, were in short supply.
