Extremely small and cramped room for the price.
We enjoyed our 4 day stay at the Waldorf and would recommend it to other travellers. Staff members were friendly and helpful. We found the room to be quiet, comfortable and a reasonable size for Paris. The location was great for sightseeing, restaurants and shopping. While the food served at breakfast was of a good standard the breakfast room was very small and quite cramped.
Breakfast room really is small. be prepared to wait for table. Hotel quite nice, more a 3* standard than 4* standard though. Room quite nice. Reception staff very helpful.
Lovely oasis of elegance and quiet in the middle of Madeleine/Opera! Friendly front desk staff w/excellent language skills. Close to Metro stop and lots of shopping and restaurants within an easy walk. Our favorite in Paris so far. We will be staying with them again!
Friendly and helpful staff all spoke enough English for us to make ourselves understood despite our woeful command of French. The room was a good size for a European city centre hotel, clean, good sound insulation from the Parisian traffic and air conditioned. The biggest drawback of this boutique hotel is the small beakfast room, (be early or wait for a table) and lack of a bar or cafe of any kind. To be fair you could order room service or break into the mini bar at a price of course. A great base to see the key sites in Paris with easy access to bus, Metro and rail. Louvre, Orsee, Place De La Concorde, Notre Dame, Avenue Des Champs-Elysees etc. all within easy walking distance if you are even only reasonably fit for a 50 year old.
Standard rooms are a little small but normal for Paris. Deluxe rooms are a good size. Service we received was excellent at both reception and breakfast. Although the breakfast room was a little cramped the choice and standard of breakfast was excellent. Location was also good.
The hotel was great the staff were helpful and friendly and the location is fantastic. It is an easy walk to most of the mail attrctions. Would thouroughly recommend it to others.
Additonal beds requested were not in the room as we had requested and one was not available the first night, but the hotel staff fixed the problem appropriately.
I have got a smoking room despite of requesting a non-smoking one. The bed was uncomfortable and the smell in the room was bad.
I would rate this hotel as a 3 star plus not a four star
Very comfortable room, with excellent large bathroom. Quiet, even with World Cup celebrations outside. Friendly, helpful staff were a pleasure to deal with--would certainly stay here again.
The Waldorf Madeleine completely fulfilled my expectations. The plan was for a week-end (romantic) in Paris with my wife, including an attractive, comfortable hotel. All went according to plan!!
Small hotel in quiet convenient position. Very small breakfast room.
We stayed 3 nights and thought for the first time in Paris the hotel was perfect for what we needed. Continental breakfast excellent. Location perfect, 10 min. from louvre, 5 min from Galleries Lafyeete. Staff spoke English and very helpful.
Stylish and cost-effective accommodation in one of the hottest areas of Paris!
Great central location, good size rooms, we travelled with 2 children under 3years and it suited us fine.
Great hotel and fantastic location.
Excellent location!!!
