Waldorf Trocadero Hotel Paris

"The location of the hotel was excellent for both the Eiffel Tower and the Champs Elysees. On a quiet back road off from the main stretch. Nearby are a couple of "corner shops" which are reasonably priced. The Hotel itself is very clean and tidy. We were upgraded when we arrived, however I feel that this was only because they charged us an extra 45 euros per night to put a small bed in the room for our daughter, which we were unaware of. The TV in the room is modern, however only receives French channels and two or three English News channels. Room on the small side but very clean. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was in a small room set aside from the reception area, all very fresh and tasy. I certainly wouldn't pay the 480 euros per room per night for this hotel, I am sure there are many other hotels that would offer more for your money, although a pleasant stay, we will not be returning. "Very surprised that no tea making facilities in room No Bar No Proper Dining Room This is a 4 star Hotel but seems to lack 4 star ameneties. The staff are excellent, nothing was too much trouble. They were very polite and curteous. Very Good. " - Andrew Strachan

"Very convenient location,not to far from Metro. Very clean and well appointed bedrooms and also very quiet. Breakfast for Paris was very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. In all a most enjoyable time was spent there." - Anonymous
