- from east: (Halle/ Leipzig) to the B80 till Nordhausen, then direction Osterode on the B243, exit Bad Sachsa
- Berlin to the A2 -> AK Braunschweig north to the A395 direction Bad Harzburg -> Braunlage B4 -> Then the B27 direction Bad Lauterberg -> Bad Sachsa
