Prague is very beautiful but with hordes of tourists. This hotel is excellent, very charming and close to the Prague Castle. All the major sites are within walking distance. The metro is very close only a 5 min walk. Charles Bridge is very close only a 10 min walk but I do recommend walking across the other bridge when walking back from the old town as it's not that crowded. The breakfast was excellent as it's in the cellar. Absolutely love this place. We were in the deluxe apartment and it was well worth it! The staff were excellent apart from when I had to return the key there was one blonde girl who was meant to be minding the desk but was instead having a gossip session in the kitchen! All in all I would definitely stay there again!
This hotel was great. It is close to the old city of Prague and is very authentic. I would definitely stay there again!
Excellent location, central within walking distance of everything in this lovely city. Hotel fairly basic (no bar, garden, pool etc) but good for the price, room was large and breakfast was good in a unique area.
Beautifil accommodation - wooden floors, beamed ceilings. REALLY well placed for Charles Bridge, Castle etc.
Everything was ok at hotel Waldstein in the Mala Strana area, as we expected to find it. A good 3 star hotel. Very easy and fast transport from airport, - direct public bus to metro station, only 2 stops and a few minuts walk. Same cheep ticket can be used. Mala Strana is a beautiful area in Prague with old very well kept houses. As the hotel is situated close to Parliament offices it is a very calm area, and good reataurants expensive and cheep can easily be fould in the neighbourhood. Little Venice in Prague, the area Kampa, is 5 minuts walk away, close to the river Moldau, and with its parks, canals, old houses, restaurants and a museum with modern art make it to a really attractive place.
The Hotel Waldstein was marvellous, very good location, big rooms with beds from last century, very nice! The breakfast at Waldstein inkluded a glas of Sekt, because it was not very much space, so we had to hurry ? It means less than 45 minutes! The staff, helped us every day with information, when we needed.
The hotel was in a very quiet location with easy Metro access to other areas of Prague. Nearest sttube = Malostranska ation 10 mins walk away. I had expected the room to be furnished in a cosy old world Bohemian style but was instead allocated a complete apartment (good) furnished totally with with IKEA (bad).Great space but not my taste. It would have been nice to have been given the option, but in fairness I did not express a wish to change rooms.
The location was superb! Walking distance to all the sites and in a beautiful part of town. The rooms were huge and nicely furnished. Besides a little problem with the hot water going out, we had a nice stay and I would definitely stay here again.
