Getting there:Getting here is easy, as we are situated close to the N25 - the main road across the south of Ireland. Half way between Cork and Waterford. Both Cork and Waterford airports are within easy reach, as are the ferry points at Rosslare and Cork.

spent 2 nights in hotel, found staff to be be very helpful and friendly,the food was excellent and very varied.I would recommend this hotel and resort as anideal holiday destination. .

I found the Walter Raleigh to be a lovely place to stay! The staff were a pleasure to be around, very helpful! The rooms are lovely with very comfortable beds! Which is essential for me! We had an excellent stay and would definately go back there!
This is an old hotel, with the charm and quirks that go with it. The Bar has recently been renovated and they serve very good food all day, every day! The staff are all very friendly and personable. The rooms are basic but well maintained, quite comfortable beds. If you plan to say there ask for a sea view, if you dont the view from the backl of the hotel is awful as the hotel is cut into the side of a hill. I will definitely stay there again, its only a 35min drive to Cork city from here and the roads are quite good.
The hotel is in a good location on the coast about a 40 minute drive from Cork city centre. The room was very clean and spacious - our twin room had one double and one single bed. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
A home from home. Very friendly and helpful staff. Superb bar food. Great atmosphere. No hesitation in recommending.
