"The Water Edge Hotel is ideally situated for those who want to party or just chill out. Being a 15min walk to the center of Torquay or a 2min bus ride the public transport system is very good and useful if you want to leave your car behind. The hotels Facillities are ideal for a short break I reccomend the breakfast. The hotel was going through some decorating at the time but didnt stop us from having a nice stay deffinately come back. Hotel description:    A warm welcome awaits you at The Waters Edge Hotel. Set back from Livermead Beach, the hotel has one of the finest and most enviable positions in Torbay providing guests with views across the entire bay.
All rooms are en suite and provide tea/coffee-making facilities. Colour Televisions. The hotel offers ample parking, but there is also off-road parking nearby. Just outside the hotel are the local bus stops taking you both directions through to either Paignton or Torquay.

Free Wi-Fi is available for guests in the reception area.
Torbay has many attractions to offer and is ideal for the young and the matured. Its picturesque harbor, sandy beaches and blue waters, coupled with the surrounding attraction of the unequalled beauty of the Devon Coastline provide the chance of a holiday to remember.

Getting there: Directions
The Waters Edge is situated on the sea front in Torquay
From the A380 along Torquay Road.
When you arrive at the junction of Torre Station, turn right down Avenue Road. Go to the end of the road and turn right onto Torbay Road (A3022).
Drive along this road until you see the Waters Edge Hotel, which is situated on the right hand side of the road pass Seaway Lane.

Travelling by Train
From Torquay Train Station
Pass the Grand Hotel towards the seafront. Turn right to Paignton. Just pass Seaway Lane; the Waters Edge Hotel is on your right, facing the sea.
Exeter Airport is approximately 20 minutes by car
