Getting there:From 25 come onto Parnell street and take a right at the traffic lights for Dunmore East followed by 3rd left on the Dunmore Road. From N9 come over Rice Bridge and take a left, follow the Quay to the end and take a left at the traffic lights for Dunmore East followed by 3rd left on the Dunmore Road.

The Waterford Marina is an OK Hotel we had only a 1 night stay staff were accommodating with a room change as the first room was a family room they changed us to a double as had been requested. As we were leaving early we were also able to have a continental breakfast prior to the dining room opening. Overall it met requirements but would not be 4star by Australian standards. Oct. 2010
Great location right on the river with relatively easy access in and out of the city. The room was comfortable and clean but the public areas (landings and hallways) are in need of thorough cleaning. Staff were, for the most part, indifferent and sluggish. I would stay at this hotel again but purely for convenience.
Had no complaints about this hotel. My wife said the fish she had for dinner was the superb.
Difficult to find the hotel at first but when located proved to be in a very handy part of town. Dined in the restaurant and food was of a high standard. Reception staff pleasant but feel the internet facilities in the lobby could be complimentary to hotel guests.
The hotel, facilities, service and food we ate at the hotel were excellent, second to none. A little disappointed to arrive to hear that the resturant was fully booked for the evening meal on the day of arrival. Consequently didn't eat at the hotel apart from breakfast. Beautifull location and overlooking the marina, couldn't ask for anything better.
The Hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. Also parking is provided beside the hotel . It is only a 10 min walk to the center of Waterford.

we arrived late for a one night stay the duty manager arranged food for us and the service throughout our stay was exceptional.

New hotel, basic but clean and comfortable. Positive: Nice quilts on the beds, good linen. Friendly and courteous staff on reception. Usual poor hairdryer like all hotels! Reasonably powerful shower. Bar has nice outdoor deck overlooking river. Would recommend for business trip or touring holiday base.
