We had an overnight stay with an early start the following morning. Unfortunately the hot water system broke down and there was no hot shower available . Not a good start, however the Manager discounted our return nights accommodation, which was perfect. I would stay there again.

Great location, good price. Good size room except TV in poor position. Bathroom showing age, but clean.
I will definately stay again. Location , layout of unit, cleanliness & being self contained was great.
A trouble free stay, very close to the waters front, pubs, eating out etc..
We were very happy with the accomodation we booked.Maybe next time I will book the front unit for a better view of the ocean.
Undercover off street parking not suitable for large 4wd vehicles
FANTASTIC PLACE
Plenty of room to move around and everything was in the right place. There were two comfortable arm chairs to relax in. The receptionist could have been a bit more friendlier. Why is it that there is a bath in every motel these days. Very hard for elderly to get into bath to have a shower
Had a really good time there. Good location on The Strand, close to a variety of different restaurants. Be aware that although they advsertise wireless internet - the signal wasn't strong enough to be used in our room and would only work sitting in the lobby.
We stayed two nights and or bed was not made up for the second night. We would say that is very bad service. We have stayed at other places for two nights and the bed was made up on each occasion. We paid the same price for the two nights.
Disappointed the reception staff were not prepared to adjust room allocations so we could extend our stay by two nights

This was a very good property that had recently been refurbished. I would not hesitate to stay there when next in Townsville.
